Making a buffer macro is easy.

1. Reserve Shortcut Bar #1 for actual playing (healing, sleep/root etc.)
2. Reserve Shortcut Bar #2 for the macros: leave buttons 1 and 2 free, but add any other buffs that are useful for a particular hunting area or situation (holy weapon, resists, magic barrier etc.)
3. Shortcut Bar #3: melee buffs (might, shield, mental aegis, focus, guidance, deathwhisper, haste, windwalk, BtB)
4. Shortcut Bar #4: mage buffs (acumen, zerk, BtS, BtB, concentration, mental aegis, shield, windwalk, regeneration, magic barrier)

So now we've got bars set up, let's make the macros.

5. Switch to Shortcut Bar #3. Open a new Macro and start dragging the buffs from your shortcut bar to the lines in the macro
6. When you're done, give the macro an easy name to recognise (I call my macros MELE and MAGE) and save them
7. Drag the macro to Shortcut Bar #2

And you've made buff macros =) To use these new macros, target someone on your buffer computer and start the macro.

However I should point out something: while a macro is running, you cannot do ANYTHING on that computer or the macro will break. Well you can move the mouse around but you cannot rotate the view, click buttons, use chat, swap between Shortcut Bars, open Inventory... so don't touch that computer while the macro is running.
A drawback to a buff macro, at least my experience of this, is that it actually slows down the buffing time, because there is a slight pause in between each buff. I have found it to be much easier/faster just to have buffs on a sc bar and click them all one by one. You can click the next one once the one you are doing is casting.

And what they say above is true... any click of the mouse, right or left click, and the macro stops.
This is true.
Just buff from your skill window. You'll quickly get the hang of where the buffs you want to buff are.
Macros are teh devil. Except for clan announcements and such.
I like using the macros to buff. I do find they are faster for me. They aren't flexible however.

I have a couple of other macros set up. One is a 'follow' macro and the other is a 'heal' macro.
I use macros to buff as well.

I usually run my main toon on my main PC (well duh) and I run two other buffers on that PC as well. These will be the "used once every 20 minutes buffers" that I sit outside the room/on a hill. These are usually a prophet and either a SE/EE.

On my second PC I'll run whatever toon (out of the SE/EE) I have in party. If the prophet is getting XPed he/she just sits where ever and gets XP when we're in range. Sometimes I'll dump it in the middle of a catacomb room so it gets XP constantly.

The beauty of the macros is that I can usually start a fighter buffs macro on the prophet and then manually run through the EE and SE buffs while the prophet is finishing off it's first macroed buff run.

As soon as your prophet can manage it, dump any Mana Up weapon and grab an Acumen sword for fast buffs and less downtime. ;)
4box ?

Oh yes. Can't beat it. I don't leave town unless I can guarantee having 19 buffs.

And all the time I am running 4 toons, the girlfriend plays her BD. Must be a nightmare for her to have to dance every 2 minutes huh? :p
Hi,
Thnx for the replies :)
I made my first macro's yesterday, they do fine.

Even made my own "panic" button : /target myself ; blessed spiritshot; battle heal ; /next target

hehe, saved my life twice yesterday !

I love to take risks :D

One other bit of advice...

Every once in awhile for no apparent reason I can find, my heal macro will not work. I can hit it several times and it won't work until I hit the 'esc' key. That seems to clear things and I can run it again.
Lag? Happens to me too
