I'm sorry if I'm posting this message everywhere but I really need help with this problem!
I bought a cordless mouse 2 days ago and it will kinda work in the game but with problems! The cursor for the mouse blinks really fast and disappears if it's still for like 2 seconds, and the mouse when loved around the screen takes a little block of the screen with it! I've tried changing the keyboard, changing the batteries called the tech support for the mouse twice and they are stumped b/c the mouse isn't defected it works on everything elseo n my computer BUT the game and I've tried changing options in the game like the cursor and tracker and stuff but that doesn't do anything I even contacted Lineage Support staff hoping they might know?!? I currently run Windows 98 and my cordless mouse is Logitech if you know if anything to fix this problem please let me know greatly appreciated thank you :)
Have you checked the logitech site for updated drivers? Also, make sure the receiver is not sitting too close to any other electronic equipment, like your monitor.
Maybe if you post the model of it, we could look up more specific info for ya.
i had cordless mouse and keyboard and they were horrible, in counter strike W A S D would lag and hold down longer then normal, mouse would skip all over the place.
There is something about the signal that screws eveything up. I currently use a mini wireless mouse for my laptop on my second account and it is horrible. I go left with the mouse, the cursor goes up and left :(, go down the cursor goes either way left down or right down. I think it has to do with sensitivity of the mouse also as I used to play counter strike in an internet cafe on a wireless mouse and a friend of mine showed me how to change it to how I liked it. I just got this mouse and I am still trying to figure it out. If you find a easy solution let me know :D. Maybe support knows the right settings to have a smooth in game feel and accuracy.
I use a wireless mouse and keyboard, both logitech, and never have a problem. Just have to keep the 2nd set of battery's charged and mext to me ;)
Definitly check for other interference though, it can be very touch and go if you have a lot of things running in the same area.
Yea I do. I also have a wireless keyboard for my desktop computer and it works great. I just dont like using wireless mouse for games if I dont have to. But if I was to use a wired mouse for the laptop too, everything would be so messy. I dont like that :p.
Well I bought the mouse 2 days ago so I figured that the software cd that came with it would be the newest but I should check the site to see if there is an updated one! & I also have wireless internet and my connector I keep as far as I can away from the monitor b/c I know about teh interferance of the waves! The model of the mouse is an "X5" or a "5X" Logitech
