And we have had 5 (no the game guides was not an "Event") anyway, all I wanna know is, why the hate? How come we dont get any cool events and as frequently as the Korean version of Lineage2?
Effect. More people means more money, means more time dedicated to keep them happy. And plus we all know koreans play the game over 12 hours a day every day so they will get bored of it a lot faster than us in the US who play about 4 or 5 on average. Some less, some more. Hence the more events to keep koreans in the game, and less events for us to still keep us interested and hoping that someday we will have what koreans have. Hey wtf, USA supposed to be the greatest country in the world. Now I wish I have what some korean does :D. Just playing. I love Korea and I'm not even asian :p.
Maybe because there's 5 times the playerbase there.
So is the larger playerbase a cause or an effect of the number of events?
Even though you're being snarky I'll field this one. Larger player base means more company staff and attention. Therefore it is the cause. I seriously doubt many players begin a game because of special events.
Unless the event is "give away the game to new players"...
Unless the event is "give away the game to new players"...
exactlly the reason i started playing
free 2 week trial FTW
2 weeks after the free trial ran out we had an event
if it wasnt for that event my noobidness would never have gotten b grade and who knows if id still be playing a 50+ SPS with crystal staff/mana up
fair enough im not as noob as i was back then, but if events dont get new players they sure as hell keep em here
i do remeber alot of ppl saying they reactivated their accounts just for the latest events
If we had more events, there would be an event virtually all the time. They would no longer be different and special. We would seldom have a normal game without events going on.
That would be fine, i guess. I prefer things the way they are now, though. Rare occasional events, its cool.
