What skill is this?

So, I was back at my usual hunting grounds this morning, and I notice only one member of the 3 toon group that's typically there before I am, and after I am as well. It's a bit odd to see just one of them, so I keep tabs, checking to see when his friends will show up.

Well, before his friends show up, a Marsh Drake attacks him! He just stands there taking the onslaught... *sniff* so brave. Unfortunately, I was busy with my own mob killing to go over and defend him. I thought he was a goner for sure.

But to my great surprise and relief, the Marsh Drake ceased his merciless attacks upon SsdgsfgsJ! "How could this be?", I asked. Certainly my eyes have decieved me.

So, in the interest of science, I patiently waited for another Marsh Drake attack, for certainly it would happen again. This time I was prepared, and captured the skirmish on tape.

Now I have but one question: What skill is this? (http://files.filefront.com/What_skillrar/;5004169;;/fileinfo.html)

(It's a .rar file, unzip to find a L2R file. Put it in your /Lineage II/Replay folder. Select the Replay button at the login screen and then choose What skill.)
Perhaps it was Fake Death or Play Dead. What race was he?

Sorry, can't watch the replay now or I would.
nah, no fake death
There are three skills that might be used:
1. Charm.
2. Trick.
3. Switch.
trick / switch would have put aggro to the DE girl ...
and u really think that this is a subclassed "eulaviolator" ?
dorfs dont have any skills like this ;)

i like that word! :D
??? skill is called "doing nothing". Mobs lose aggro if you dont hit them.

only if you are outside of there spawn area
otherwise they will attack you all day
that's not actually true. Some mobs .. SOme not all I have yet to be able to test this 100% either way, wills top attacking yoiu after a while. My thoughts always where they jsut give up.I haven;t been gustsy enoguh tto try it in fg but I have been in lower lvl area with my dwarf (for holding sps etc) and somehting has aggroed him only to stop b4 it kill s him.
mobs losing aggro after 2 minutes.
may some1 out of sight used charm,
may a feature real player dont have ;)
Probably just lost aggro, it happens. I remember in C2 or C3 we were in TOI and this healer runs out of the red room on 5th floor with a mob beating the heck out of her. She just stood there casting a heal now and then, and the mob just STOPPED attacking and walked away! Couldn't beleive my eyes.
hmm, I suppose...

Yesterday evening the healer was wiped by drakes in this same fashion.

This morning the blade dancer for the group was killed.

But this dorf survived at least 2 close encounters...

Bishops (is healer was one) get a Peace skill, could have used that, but yes mobs eventually stop attacking.
I have had mobs chase me from heine to giran and continue to bug me. I remember as a newb, getting a huge lag spike and come back dead because of aggro.

I'm not saying it isn't possible for a mob to give up, but, *censored* it, why am I never that lucky? :p

p.s. in the replay there is no skill used, it's just a marsh drake biting an unresponsive bounty hunter.
