Prolly because they dont want to aknowledge a site that has more accurate information about the game. Or perhaps they feel a site that is more popular than the official site is a threat to them and shouldnt be advertised by them >.>

Blah is a **** site for those that cheat in game, and Gold is one of them. It is a fansite but not a respectable one. The mods don't care about threads about cheating. or any other source in the game that doesn't come by Legitimately.

also you need to remember that the official site has people that their job is to mod the site. On blah, it is players so they arent on 95% of the time.

I like that site because we take up and discuss real problems about the gameplay, or the game manegement. Things like that are banned here which makes it really hard to reach out to the game managers other than through a very malfunctioning support system that only generates auto responses from outsourced customersupport.

We need communities by the people, for the people, not an over moderated site where all problems or flaws gets swept under the rug and locked down by an inadequate community manager. (No, its nothing personal, I don't think you are ugly or anything Mystryl, I just don't think you are doing your job as good as you could do)

They know ebay, bots, pwrlvl, raid farmers, exploits, and hacks exists. L2 doesnt want them to exist and it seems the best way to make it so they dont exist, is to delete and lock any thread about it instead of going after the people who make it possible. Adena selling sites give their address and all contact info, not hard to find them. Pwrlvl sites give info to contact them. But yes, it is easier to delete and lock anything about them instead of taking time to get rid of the people who make it possible. If they did this, they wouldnt need to lock and delete the posts about them cause they wouldnt exist.

If you says something about bots, it gets locked once a mod see's it. If you says something about ebay it is most likely deleted. it is a community site that lets the people who play the game talk about the game while keeping their freedom of speech about it.

blah has never hosts any hacks or adena selling sites or put links up to hacks or adena selling sites. Whereas in the past, warcry has had banners on their site to buy adena.

So what you are saying is, you posted three links that were in violation of L2blah rules on these official boards, where L2blah mods would obviously look, instead of using the system that the moderators have built into place on our site?

allright, just answer this: at which fields do you or tisirin have the absolute authority. so the community can give you a constructive feedback at those precise fields.
a very exagerated and yet real example: a designer for a car company demands an lawyer for a material that for that chassis that is light as a feather, hard as diamond, resistant to flexibility as titanium, non conductive to electricity or heat, not expensive and easy to handle/manufacture.
now the lawyer wont come up with anything cause it just aint his departement. so tell us at what departements we can count on you to improve and we'll tell ya our opinions.

I can see your point about it being a fansite, though I can also see the big problem of having a legitimized site such as this that people will link to, and with that circumvent the rules of the official forum directly, by just saying "hey, I made the thread on Blah, now we can call NCSoft little [censored] names, talk about illegal content and post photoshop edited pictures of the other posters, their families or gf/bf.

Well, this thread is certainly trending in a nasty direction.

To answer one of the questions, I cannot think of too many MMO websites or community efforts where any one person has absolute, unquestioned authority. It just doesn't work that way.

I do know that Mistryl goes to bat for this community at every opportunity for adding more information to the website, greater functionality, more information to convey to the players, etc.

It seems to me that there is a certain amount of willful historical blindness in action here. The website and the community effort has shown steady improvement over time, and more suggestions and feedback is always appreciated and on many occasions acted upon.

I know for SURE that you all are in better hands than when *I* was filling in. :)
