I've seen screenshots, where there is a seperate chat channel, with yellow writing for raids. So I went and had a look at the commands list in new player guide. Now, I don't know if they have added this to the site yet, but I'm thinking it might be the Command Channel thing?
So I tested it out. I am party leader, and I'm trying to invite my friend's party to command channel, but it's telling me "wrong target has been invited".
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Only the clan leader of a lvl5 clan can invite another group into a command chat channel.
Its not too bad for multi-alliance raids and such. Theres two "channels" within the command chat box. Theres one channel where all the group leaders can see and talk into.. but no one else (blue text?), and theres another one which only the chat channel leader can talk into, but all can see (gold text).
Are you a clan leader? only clan leaders can make it. Also
Everyone in the channel can see the channel leader talking but the leaders can talk among themsevles and it's invisible except whta is written by the command group leader.
Pretty effective, our alliance and another alliance do almost everything together so it makes it very convenient.
I think its good to have a reason to get a clan to lvl5. Since only one clan in an alliance needs to be lvl5... theres no reason for others to make the move from 4 to 5.
I'd like to see NC make a lvl6.. one that perhaps doesnt use leader SP to get.. but perhaps an interesting clan quest. Clan rewards ftw!
