Young Monk needs Help...

Hello Brother Orcs,
I finally decided to go Monk. Now I understand the Monk's should wear the light Armor. So, here are my questions.
1.What C grade armor should I get?

2.What B grade armor should I get?

What tats should a level 40+ Monk get?

C grade: Plated Leather, if you can afford it.
B grade: If you want light armor, I'd go with Doom. BW heavy is good too.

Tats? I was too poor to put any on my tyrant.. It's really a matter of what build you want. I'll let some tattoo savvy tyrants and others answer that.

For the tattoos....

I played with them a bit on the test server and i came up with the understanding, that while they are all nice and cool they just aren't worth it.

You have two options and that is to boost your HP but nerf your damage output, or to boost your damage output but nerf your HP.

Ether route for myself wasn't helping at all. I don't think tattoos are worth it.

For PVE, the HP doesnt matter so if you want fast lvling, +str and +dex is the way(especially if you have buffer/CH buffs to go with).

c grade: i like theca. but i am biased.

b grade: doom. thing else compares.

as for tattoos, you need to think about the SA of your weapon to make these things count.

IF you +4str +4dex -8con, then you have 2 options that i can see that will make your pve easy, and pvp less hard; critical drain, and health. health isnt available until A tho, so stick with the critical drain IF AND ONLY IF you are tattooed like that. believe it or not, +4dex makes you crit a LOT. stack doom on there and you got +7 dex ... o.0

self buff on top of tTHAT and effectively you can 80% crit. thats a fair drian. less potions and no healer ftw. grab VR and you could never die 1v1.

Wear heavy until B grade (lvl 52)...light armor in C grade it´s not worth it...you´ll still recieve too much damage.

C: Composite or Full Plate (you wont get the set bonus since you dont use shield, so choose either way, I´ll go with Compo)

B: Low B - Zubei light
Hight B - Doom Light

I got a good understanding of the armor part, now I just need more info on Tats. Should I get them or not? If yes, which tats shud I get exactly. I do not plan on getting any tats till B grade. I will be going doom lite with an Arthro Nail set (looks awesome) it also has an SA of Haste . SO keep that in mind when recommending tats. Thanks
