a Blade Dancer PVPing?

How well is a blade dancer at pvping and what classes would be their weaknesses and/or easiest target? And at BG what is the best armour and weapon for a blade dancer to use?
Well, a Blade Dancer probably wasn't designed as a PvP God...but they are decent. If they can land PB/Hex land then they can really do some damage. Remember, they use duals, and their attack speed is significantly faster than a Glad's. Not to mention higher crit rate.

And your easiest targets would probably be Heavy Armor/Light Armor melee.

For B grade I reccomend Blue Wolf Heavy and Samurai Longsword*Tsurugi duals.
Awesome thanks a ton :) I really needed to know that considering that I've never had a melee class except my elven scout but I consider her more range class :) and one more question who's harder to fight for a Blade Dancer Nukers or melee? I usually would say nukers b/c they hit from range where as I hit from close up?
as a BD you will lack high damage skills. While your damage over time skill are nice, they wont kill a strong enemy before he kills you...

anyway^^
in group pvp, dont try to rush foward and kill anyone. Youre better alive and dancing for you archer/mage, you know ^^;
And dont aim for heavy armor classes. Youre better hitting a healer or a dagger!
as i played with dwarf i easy killed 5 lvl higher BD, they are weak low life and stun kill them easy.

I rarely lose to BladeDancers because of the range thing. They can very very formidible up close but if I can get a slow on them then game over.
1v1 bd loses alot.

They r a group class. meaning where they stand out is making a PvP group pwn in pvp.

if u can afford a PvP weap get a bow its essential
So if I want to use my BD and try pvping with her the best thing to do is get a rteally good bow? it would be my best bet? If she's a BG char what is the best armour to use for her?
As a BD you should be hitting the dagger users and healers in a fight, you'll take them down very easily.

And whoever said we attack faster than a Glad, can I get some of what you are smoking?
BDs should hang back unless they are in a melee group. BDs are one of the worst 1v1 PvPers in my opinion. They have low HP and no reliable way to slow or root an enemy. Yea they got freezing strike but its not reliable by any means. Best bet in ANY type of PvP group is to sit back and pick enemies off with a bow and cast a few Hexes here and there. If you are a BD in a mage group you should be a Hexing machine to help your physical oriented allies, unless its just your nuker group or something then just stick to power break and shooting.
I guess you lead a boring life then. A BD should do what he does best, get stuck in. If you die you die, but at least you have fun doing it.
off topic: Loth when you ganan be back full time? =o I miss your spam :p

On topic: my BD doesnt yet have a bow, but if i can get in the mist of things and land hex, then the enemy is feeling some pain :)
In about 9 weeks I will be moving to Gutersloh, Germany, and will be back full time shortly after then!
Ah nice. I live on a military base in germany and i love it here ^_^
So basically I should invest in a bow and also Duals I mean whas the best thing to use when I'm pvping in an arena my bow? and then change to my duals or what? This will be my first time playing it as a blade dance and my first time fighting with her so I just want to know how I should equip myself and what I need to use to somewhat be successful at pvping?!?

Hmm, usually in PvP I find it easy taking down bladedancers with my PW for the simple fact a BD isn't really that good at hitting 135 evasion especially since they have no high damage skills. Stick with the healers because even though daggers are gimp now, I don't think a BD has a chance vs a dagger unless the dagger is much lower level or PBD lands.
Darn that sucks I was hoping my Blade Dance would be decent at pvping even in the arena which is closed in!!! She's high and in BG and I was hoping to try fighting her with someone but I guess the out come isn't going to be what I expect ok thanks a ton if anyone who's got a BD thinks differently and has tried pvping and actually did good let me know what class you fought (other then healer) and what was used to defeat them and thanks alot for the tips!
asa bd the only real class you will win against in a 1bv1 is a SWS outher then that your best bet is to have some bsoe's a bd's roll in pvp is to be stanbding behind a fie nukers or mages dancing not in the fray a bd is too valuebule to lose after one dance theay only last 2 min
Ok so basically my BD is no good for anything else but Raid Groups(maybe) and I think thats basically it! Thanks again lol :)
no your just a buffer and not a dd your useful in almost any grp
no class can pvp better than archer/mage in terms of dps, so just sit back and relax, oh and hit the dance button every 2 mins

Yeah, when I first started playing this game I thought that the BD was going to be some sort of Blade Master. There were even some BD's who pvp'ed a lot. But as the other classes came into their own that idea was changed.

In the end I think the BD SHOULD be some sort of a Blade Master. Shame that.

Well.. if that is not the role you want you could always reroll :(
BDs are AWESOME in pve.

fury/warrior/fire and later vamp.. just awesome.
When a PvP gets high enough for Dance of Medusa, thats an excellent PvP skill and if lucky and done properly and skillfully can turn the tide in PvP. Other than that just dance and relax :P
Ok thanks for he advice I'll try that out and see how I do. thanks again for all the comments :)
Not directed at anyone in particular: Remember server culture. Whether or not people actually wait out the order in which they flag is important to the role of the BD in PvP (as they're one of the early flagging classes that sort of get into trouble on servers where people just go red).
