I've put up a bunch of different spreadsheets about things and the links are scattered throughout different posts. I thought I'd put up a post here of all of my links so far.
There's nothing wrong with simple formatting. You did a good job on those tables. Your list of recipes looks very similar to one I put together when I created my dwarves. :)
Sweet, I wanted to compare the elven fighters to other race's archers/daggers.
It would seem i've decided on going archer. But god knows what happens until lvl 35.
Thumbs up Jute.
P.S. I'm curios about the stick-girl reading the newspaper (story book ?) avatar and the site opening image :).... Reminds me of something from my childhood not sure what (and no, it's not the silly drawings we used to do backthen..)... something else... a certain simplicity of things... of carefreeness.. hmm, can't pinpoint it ^^"
I've put up a new set of sheets. This is a work in progress so it's not finished but I thought I'd like to get it up and going for people to start using.
There are navigation tabs at the bottom and the zones are alphabetical. Some zones have nothing, since I'm trying to personally confirm what is agro and what isn't.
Just remember that mob behavior since C4 has a few quirks and occasionally non-agro stuff will smack talk and hit you. Also, there is more than one category of agro mob, and I'm still trying to work out how to identify that. For instance, some are social with everything (like in Enchanted Valley or the Ant's Nest) but others are social only with their own kind.
Anyway...feedback on what I can do to improve it is welcome.
Nice base already, 1 thing I would personally like to see in the quest tab:
1) I don't want to see all quest available...personally I believe there is still lots of work to be done untill most 20+ quests become interesting to do
2) In what interesting quest the mob has to be killed. We already have enough drop-spoil sites with pretty much accurate info, but to know what interesting quests are available for those kinds of mob could be a nice add.
Thanks already for your bravity to actually want to do this :)
If I understand you correctly, the only problem about picking interesting quests would be that what is interesting to some, is not interesting to others.
The official German fansite features a web application where skills can be compared. The site does not list the 3rd professions in the chart on the top, but the skills after level 75 are listed all the same (attached to 2nd profession).
Some hints:
The green boxes link to prepared comparisions: Tanks, Healer, Dagger, Bow, Summoner, Nuker (left to right)
Below is an option for individual comparisions. "Vergleichen mit" means "compare with", luckily the class names remained untranslated.
Remember that these are just hints what every class can do. Most people will use only 3 to 5 skills for normal leveling and every class has skills that are totally useless.
At first I was going to curse you Jute. No mob I tried would give up that cokes recipe. I bet I took out 300 of the assorted mobs that could drop through normal and spoil drops. Deleveling to stay in range of mobs did not seem to be helping either. Then just when I had given up and decided to level out of that range and go for my first class change to artisan. Low and behold first pop on a green Vaiss orc after coming back to SoDA and there it was.
Twas after this that I also read your adventures logs over the course of several days. Keep up the great work you do. Many blessings be upon you. :)
I've added three new sheets under Misc. One has the prices of the various items sold by the winning Seven Signs Priestess, such as CP potions, squeaky shoes, etc. The other two are the prices for which the Prestigious Item Hall (also known as the Luxury Shop) sells armor and weapons.
Hi Jute,
Can I make a suggestion?
I just answered someone post about the manor system and the rewards... but I cant find decent information on the net. I have my own personal spreadsheet at home that I use but I though it would be nice to have this info online in a spreadsheet for everyone to see. I was wondering if you could do one..
Mine look something like this
Name of seed || Level range || Type 1 reward || Type 2 reward
EDIT: oh I almost forgot...having the "base price" of each type of reward would be even better ! Time to add it to my home spreadsheet ^_^
I can certainly look into this, but since I do not do the manor I will have to find out from someone what is castle set (and therefore would vary) and what is actually static.
The "base price" of mats does not vary.
It is used to calculate ahead of time how many crops you have to turn in given the variable buy back price of the castle to get 1 reward.
Ill ask my resident manor expert (my bf) and Ill edit post
EDIT: ok he says the "base price" is the NPC value for thos mats. You can find em at following site (its old info but prices havnt changed)
Search for NPC item value (http://l2db.onlinewelten.com/)
One thing tho. I was looking for the "recipes that all warsmiths should have" sheet on the new site and didn't see it.
I am also a victim of the spreadsheet addiction. I have spreadsheets for all D grade and higher items listing item cost calculated on what you are willing to pay for its base crystals. Also, use spreadsheets to track profits when dualing D swords to crystallize as C's.
Okay finally finished up the Materials by Level sheet and added a new one in the Crafting section that is Materials that are Spoiled by Zone.
If there are some other ways people would like to see this material presented (for instance would by mob alphabetically be useful?) please let me know.
Very nicely laid out Jute. I especially love the way you have laid out the material drops by level. That will be extremely useful to people looking for certain items.
Of all the basic mat crafting recipes the only one I have never had to use is metallic fiber. That mat drops so easily at the levels you start needing it for robes and light armor that I usually have 2k or so in surplus.
Oriharukon doesn't see much use either in my experience but all the other mat recipes are truly essential.
On a side note there are 30+ mat recipes, if you don't expand your recipe book by using fishing proofs that leaves very little recipe space for other items to craft.
I have a new spreadsheet up I'd like some community feedback on...
I've put together this list of D grade items that I want to craft or find. I haven't put weapons on the list because with the Blacksmith of Mammon I don't think people craft them much any longer, but I can put weapons on if people think it's worthwhile.
Please let me know what you think of this and if it's worth doing for the other grades. Also, if you think anything else should be included let me know.
I am putting the main site URL in here too because I usually change things around and it's better to go to the main site if you are looking for something.
I've finished updating the Mobs by Zone list to include Sweet Fluid drops. There is some confusion from the NPC on the names of mobs in Devil's Isle, so just FYI.
I've also shifted things around a bit and created a new category for Mobs. In that new category are some old sheets and a new one that is a list of all raid boss mobs.
This list is drawn from in game from the NPC. The levels are from their list. These levels differ a bit occasionally from the Stratics list and I'll be doing some checking to see which is correct.
great job jute! just have a question, there are a few (namely: arcsmith anvil; warsmith holder; and warsmith mold) that seem to be relatively new to level 6 mats recipes. have you been able to locate where we can get them? and as for the folks who do not seem to use some of the mat recipes, there are unique recipes for specific items that require the use of ori ore and oriharukon (generally for armor items).
I know you are a busy person, with a life. If you choose to accept this mission.

Someone previously asked for Manor information on my site. Lady Moria redid the original guide from Choch at Stratics and offered to let me post it on my site.
I have not put up anything on the site previously that was other than my own stuff, but I've started to get a number of offers for things I think the community will find useful so I've put it up (under Miscellaneous).
On the first sheet you can enter all the materials you have on hand, then pick the armor you want from the other sheets and enter in the quantity. If you look back on the first page it will recalculate all the values and tell you what mats are missing.
Excellent job and thanks for letting me put it up.
As always because this does have executable code in it, take care when using the sheet.
Thanks, Jute and I will get my revenge on you for getting me started on this. I will say that it has been fun and I've learned a lot. I think I've PMed Mistryl about a dozen times with questions and I'm sure she's sick of it by now.
Please remember that it is a work-in-progress. I know there are mistakes. But please feel free to test and torment it and let me know what errors you find and any suggestioins by using the email address listed in the sheet (please email me there, I'd like to keep all feedback in one place).
Thanks again, Jute. Not only for "planting the seed" but for hosting it.
Here are a couple of screen shots that show, sort of, how it works. Let's say you want to craft a set of Blue Wolf Robes and Black Ore Jewelry. Your first step would be to visit the "Materials" sheet and enter all of the mats (basic and crafted) that you currently own. Next, go to the "B Armor" sheet and enter a "1" next to the boots, gloves, helm, tunic and stockings recipes: Example (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/jfencl/Miscellaneous/Craft1.jpg). Next, go to the "Jewelry" sheet and do the same for the Black Ore pieces (2 rings, 2 earrings, 1 necklace): Example (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/jfencl/Miscellaneous/Craft2.jpg) (yes there's a mistake on there and it's been fixed :p). Finally, go to the "Materials" sheet and it will display all of the crafted and basic mats necessary to craft all of those items: Example (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/jfencl/Miscellaneous/Craft3.jpg).
Realize that the required "basic mats" are often duplicates of crafted mats. For example, if you need 100 Coarse Bone Powder, it will also show that you need 1,000 Animal Bone. You need to keep in mind that you don't necessarily need both. However, if you had put that you already had 100 CBP "On Hand", it will deduct those 1,000 Animal Bone from the final tally.
Lastly, if you put how much soul/spirit ore costs you along with the price you pay for crystals, it will calculate your cost per shot so you can easily see what you profit margin is for those: Example (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/jfencl/Miscellaneous/Craft4.jpg).
Update: I've completed the B weapons and have a good start on the C weapons.
I added a sheet for Ancient Adena prices from the Priest/Priestess and Merchant of Mammon. This lists the costs for purchasing items from them and, also, lets you enter how much you pay for AA and blank scrolls. It, then, calculates "adena costs" of these items.
Once I complete the C weapons, I'll fire it off to Jute so she can post the newer spreadsheet.
Last update for a bit (cuz triple posting is bad):
- Completed D, C, B, A and S Armor recipes. Added MP bonus to robes.
- Completed D, B, A and S Weapon recipes. C sheet is done but recipes have not all been entered (****, there's a lot). This should be done tonight.
- Completed all crafted mat recipes, including shots and compressed shots.
- Completed AA sheet, including Priest/Priestess items and Merchant of Mammon prices. Also, I added a "seal stone" calculator for those that buy seal stones.
-----------
If anyone has the NPC prices of Arcsmith's Anvil, Warsmith's Holder, Warsmith's Mold, Leolin's Mold and Rope of Magic: S Grade, I would appreciate getting them.
I mentioned this to Jute last night in game but thought I would post it here as well. You leave out 60% recipes for B grade items. Also some A grade items you list 100% recipes for them and not the 60% ones. For the B grade some of those 100% recipes are near impossible to get, BW Helm for one is a very rare drop at 100%. And as far as A grade goes the only time we will see 100% recipes is on the PTS I am afraid. Other than that I love this worksheet, already replaced the one I was using.
Every B grade item on my spreadsheet has both 60% and 100% (70% and 100% for jewelry). I'm confused...
Also some A grade items you list 100% recipes for them and not the 60% ones.
Again confused. I actually list more 60% recipes for A grade than 100%. The only 100% recipes listed are ones that are currently on the official site. Also, for A armor and jewelry, no 100% recipes are listed on my spreadsheet.
For the B grade some of those 100% recipes are near impossible to get, BW Helm for one is a very rare drop at 100%.
But they exist, that's why there on the sheet (I have gotten 100% BW recipes myself).
And as far as A grade goes the only time we will see 100% recipes is on the PTS I am afraid.
I can hide them for now. The official site can be very confusing at times. I guess the have recipes listed that aren't in game yet...
ok so the greyed out lines for 60% recs is just you not copying info from 100% recs, sorry I was confused there. As far as 100% A grade goes they have been removed from the official site here. I doubt we will ever see 100% A or S grade recs in the live game.
Well the 100% A grade recipes had been removed from the site but now they are back again. Argh they should make up their mind about those really. There has been no hint that they are being implemented for the live servers yet.
I've added:
- Noncraftabled equipment
- NG items
- Armor set bonuses
- Infinity weapons
- Unsealing bonuses for S jewels and majestic jewels (and AA costs)
- Duals
- Blacksmith of Mammon weapon upgrade costs
Just an FYI (and before it starts more arguments) if the recipe in on the Official Site, I've include it. I make no claim that it is currently in game. All recipes are consider 100% unless otherwise specified.

100% a/s grade rec's are in the source code but they are deactivated on live servers .... ncsoft make them avaible on pts for easier 'testing' ;)
What?? None of the new C5 weapons are in this sheet yet? Just kidding but I would be happy to send you the materials list for 60% Destroyer Hammer. I purchased that recipe on the PTS so that I could find out what it would take to craft once C5 goes live :)
The latest version of SirEl's excellent sheet is up.
Thanks for inspiring and hosting this, Jute.
Here are some answers to questions I've received:
Q:Why does XXX have a price of $$$ when the NPC buys it back for $$$?
A: The NPC price is the price at which the NPC would sell that item (not including tax). Therefore buyback price is half this value. I am currently adding a tax feature.
Q: Why is recipes for item XXX on the sheet when it isn't in the game?
A: I have incorporated ALL of the dwarven craft recipes from the Official Site (unless I've missed some accidently). If it's listed there, I added it. I make no claim that it is currently in the game.
Q: Why don't you have the recipe for XXX?
A: Because it isn't listed on the Official Forums. If I can log onto your live server, see the recipe in a trade window and screen shot it, I'll add it. If not, no chance.
Q: Recipe XXX is incorrect.
A: Same as above. If the ingame recipe is indeed different than the one listed on the Official Site, I will need to log onto your server and screen shot the info for myself. I will also try to get the Official Site corrected.
So, to sum up, I will not take your word for it that something is incorrect. I will not take your word for it that something is or is not in the game. I will not add PTS stuff.
Thanks to everyone that has given me suggestions and/or corrections and thanks to Mistryl for answering numerous questions.
I haven't chimed yet but I will !
I don't need that many guides and I was using Ogras's crafting calculator till now.
Till now...
Because now I'v discovered yours and see.. It's not that hard to make me change my mind ;)
Gratz on the tremendous work done there !
Do you plan adding a Common Craft section ?
It could be cool to compare the price of say GSA pots from fishing and GSA pots from Priests.
I was wondering if it wouldn't be helpful to add a new tab to the spreadsheet that calculates the number of coins (from both coin quests) needed to get the A grade recipes. As you may know, you have to change certain lower coins into higher level ones, then add 10 each of certain Kail's coins. Also, how many of each coin it would take to make the new, higher level one at the NPCs.
Btw, I love using your spreadsheet!! :)
The second possible idea is to add a page (or add to the existing pages) a way to list and calculate the materials needed for armor/jewels/weapons so a person can track markte prices to sell the individual parts. For example, if I wanted to track the number of magestic ring gemstones, then how much it's selling on the market. O.o

Anything is possible, as long as I'm able to figure it out. This is my first Excel spreadsheet so I'm having to learn all of this stuff on the fly (and there's a bunch of mistakes that I'm fixing when I have time). My publisher (Jute) would probably try to convince me to put something like this on a different spreadsheet but I would go ahead and put it on a different tab (like the mammon stuff).

Yeah, this is something I've been mulling over. I don't have a place for recipe cost, for example. Also, calculating the cost of just the mats has been proving to be a pain. I'm completely open to suggestions, however.

I made a few fixes to the sheet and reposted it on my site. I also added Soul Crystal prices at Lux shop. Not many changes yet and no C5 recipes since they haven't been posted here yet. Please let me know if you find anything other mistakes (or didn't fix one you sent me before :p). Thanks for all of the suggestions and mistake reports!
Thanks to Mistryl's sticky (the C5 weapons, you sickos ) I've updated my spreadsheet. I don't have the recipes yet (must have official information before adding these).
