hi me and my friend are new to the game on gustin we're respectivly playing a 13orc fighter(headed for monkdom) and a 14 human mystic(headed for cleric) and i was wondering where a good spot for hunting is
If so, a good place for you two to meet up and hunt is going to be right outside Gludin (though on my server it's a popular place to PK newbies).
If your friend can travel to the Orc lands, that's actually better though. They aren't crowded, unlikely to get you PK'd and you have to get your class change quest from there, while your friend does not.
You are a healer type and your friend is a melee type, so it makes sence for you to hunt together. It will cost your friend 3000a to use the Gatekeeper to teleport to Gludin. It will cost you 5000a to take the boat from Talking Island (TI) to Gludin (make sure you buy the ticket to Gludin, not Giran.)
On you map (when you go outside town) there is a place called Windmill Hill. Red players like to hide up there and swoop down on players to kill them, so be a bit wary of that area.
I would suggest that you and your friend travel to the Elven Village and run the Collect Spores quest given my Herbiel in the magic shop. It is repeatable, and give 3500a each time. Both of you can do the quest, but the one who gets the 'last hit' on the fungus has the chance of getting the spore sac. Have your friend get the mobs health bar way down, then you kill it. Go back when you both have the 10 sacs; 7000a total for each run.
