Quest monsters

is it bad manners to kill a quest monster if not on that quest? Kind of figured it was but thought i would ask.

Almost all quest monser have quick respawn, just dont do it if someone do quest its realy not nice to kill at that time quest monsters. :cool:

Quest mobs do not drop anything, so it is a bit pointless to kill them. And, 'yes,' it is bad manners, although if no one is around... who cares?

However, if you are crusing along the eastern shore of Fellmere Lake, you may get near the only AGGRO quest mobs I'm aware of, the Water Seers (or something.) I had three of those magic casting bums on my tail recently, after I ran past them. Geeze, who thought making them aggro was a good idea?

Depends on the quest mob! You get no exp, no sp, and no adena or drops from quest mobs so you're really just wasting time. And having done the class change quests for a SH and SE this past week, I can say that most of them do not exactly have a "fast" respawn time. For instance the ones in the EG pit took at least 10 mins to respawn.

I do it sometimes just to get em out of there and have regualr mobs respawn instead of them :p.

I seriously doubt clearing quest monsters improved the spawn of other mobs.
