I was curious about the difference between cast speed increase for a prophet on lvl 64 between BW light and BW Robe. Robe obviously has 15% AND a 3 Wit increase. What i want is the increase in cast speed in terms of NUMBERS when wearing the BW light armor. An approximate will do as well.
Self buffed with Zerk/Acu and wearing a Devotion set my 64 prophet has 757 casting speed atm (5 Wit tatoos). What would be the increase in wearing BW robe, and the increase in wearing BW light?
Wrong - the robe has a 3 wit increase only, there is no robe that offers 3 wit and 15%. The closest you can get are the Dark Crystal and Tallum sets, which both offer +2WIT over a 15% bonus.
BW Robes will give you a small but mostly insignifcant boost over the devotion set.
BW Light will cast slower than devotion robes, at roughly the same rate as a robe that doesn't have a bonus at all: Its base cast rate is 90% of that of a robe without cast speed bonus, then add the 15% bonus to cast speed and you're at a bonus of approximately 3% - then you take the 5% or so off for the one wit point it substracts, and you're at 98% or so of base robe casting.

I'm going to test it again but I have a majestic set and a BW set (15% casting speed vs +3 WIT) and the numbers are almost exactly the same. I don't have light to test though.
if youre really looking for cast speed, grab a Dasp/BoMT/Homu with acumen.
at that level (a little low but whos gonna notice) go to the hotsprings area. youll find your cast speed doubles (just about) from the number you posted.
