you might be wondeing what the subject line means . . .
last night I joined my first party and encountered my very first Raid Boss . . . 2 actually. It was alot of fun and I wanted to thank all those that were patient with me and my questions . . . as well as my "raid boss virginity".
So I'm still a mediocre level but I've think I've finally graduated from the childhood and protection of my starter town to the adult world that it everything else.
Spindle, I'd like to give you a friendly warning about pickup Raid Boss groups. If they go wrong, and you die and drop somthing, chances are good you wont get it back. Also, while the big XP boost is nice for leveling, you are not making money or materials during that XP(normally, occasionally you will get a drop) so it is not a good idea if you are broke.
I 100% agree with Canto just wanted to add that if you're doing pick-up raid boss groups you should get some raid luck charms from the dusk priestess. They last an hour and stop you from dropping any items if you die to a raid boss. They don't cost much.
Congratulations! Both on first successful raids AND not being able to hear Alryn! Those are accomplishments!
Seriously though--find a stable group (or develop one) for raiding if possible. Sometimes those pick-up raid groups can be disasters! People running, uncoordinated attacks, multiple deaths (speaking of Alryn).

PS. I really am only teasing about Alryn--he and I have raided many many times together and he is stable, reliable, and pretty talented (but plz don't tell him I said that!)
jkoster...we raid every night though we're a bit 'tween' for your 50+ right now. Most of clan is in 40's right now so our own clannies at 50+ sometimes have to sit out.
We almost ALWAYS need 1-3 to fill out group (which is how we got stuck with alryn so often).

Give a pm if you see DrakkosV running around . I'm guessing we're approaching 60 raid bosses (lvl 21-41) in the past 3-4 weeks (or darned close to 60!). Generally play evenings est.
LOL-last night our lvl 20 alts only had 7 players in group and we took 4 rb's before 1am est....no one would answer our shouts so we went light 2 players (:.....more than enough room anytime!
Feel free to pm me some time! I am level 38 right now, slowing down a bit (been raiding a lot with that Drak guy and his pals which is fun but costs money. he said his friendship would be free at first *snif*) and trying to make some cash, mainly hunting in EG right now sans SS.
But always looking for people to group up with or just chat (I'm sure those on my friends list can attest to this!)
