Attention : [Player Name] picked up [Object]

Sometimes i see a message in my chat window that says "Attention : Azerty picked up Ring Of Devotion" for example, and the message is in deep yellow like when i trade or buy or sell, does this means something ?
This is meant to avoid people taking others' items unnoticed. If you drop a full item, it is argued, you will want to know who has it so you can PK them for it or talk.

It only works for full items because it would spam you to all hell and back otherwisely. :p
Hm... i'm not sure i really understand :p
Does this means that someone picked up one of my items ?
Cos this message displays even if i dont drop anything on the ground...
Sorry, that wasn't written well.

It displays whenever someone in your vicinity picks up a full item (full item meaning a piece of equipment).

This is meant to be used so people can not pick up an item and make away with it, never to be found out. :)
Oh ok now i see ! :)
Thanx !

Pick up item, log off.

Try and find me. ;)

I can see it now:

Me: You picked up my helmet. Give it back.

AN Other: No I didn't.

Me: Yes you did/

AN Other: No I didn't.

Me: Yes you did, the game said so.

AN Other: It lied, prove I picked it up.

Me: Yes u did.

AN Other: NO I didn't.

Repeat ad nauseam

Most useless amendment to the game imo.
Note: It shows who picked it up, but not who actually got the item (if the person who picked it up is in a party).
For me as a pick up raid organiser, it's very useful in determining which party dropped items went to in case of death so I can step on that party's leaders toes to get on his party member's nerves to give it back.

It's not handy if the person in question doesn't want to give it back, of course, but that's a different story.
