I've seen 1 or 2 low-level people with book weapons, and a few websites list a number of them, but I can't find any info on where to get higher level ones, no info on where to get mats or recipes, and I've never seen one for sale. Do they exist anymore? Is there a better weapon for nukers to use?
The highest lvl book is Heathen's Book, which is a mid - C grade weapon.
Only good thing about books is it allows you to carry a shield as well. Carrying a shield is good for PvP.. but I cant remember the last time Ive wanted it in PvE. And with so many people rolling nukers, a shield isnt as important as it used to be. Last siege I was in I think I only died twice to an archer... but at least 10 times to a nuker.
Its best to grab an accumen weapon as a nuker if you can. Its easily the best nuker SA. Mage Swords have become the book substitute. Theres one mage sword per grade that has accumen.. so look into it.
they only look as book in the No grade type after that they change the skins to look like wands at D & C grade.
most person prefer the other weapons that can get a SA on it.
