quest discrimination

i think we need more race and class specific quests
as far as i can think of the only class specific quests after 50 are the third class quests
before that the last quest is "under the shadow of ivory tower" that is only accessable by mystic classes
Hmmm, I don't know.

Besides this being "politically incorrect", that would also probably screw dwarfs out of many quests out there...

seeing as dwarfs supposed to be the kings of adena(craft/spoil), why give those pesky dwarfs more ways to make money?

j/k :p

who says the reward needs to be adena (other something u can sell for it) ;)
I hope you won't take my joke comment too seriously, I based my responce partially on Nameless1's signature tone :p

joke or not that still hints on race specific quest design
spoilers could get a quest for a quest mob that spoils something good
crafters? well how bout a quest to get recipies that doesnt involve a full party to do it

Now that is a **** good idea!

More quests which give consumables would be nice. Cursed bone, cast/attack speed pots, and the like.

Be nice to have extra quest slots to accomodate an increase in quests.....

But...but....but that would mean that wonderful quests such as Giants Cave thing maybe obsolete.

Oh I do love that quest, hunt for hours and hours, get some scrolls that all turn into Giants Love Letters...... Haven't quite figured out what to do with them or whom to send these letters too, but dagnabbit, I will find what to do with these Love letters sooner or later!!
Way back when I made a simple suggestion - add an unsharable spoil on quest basis, in part as extension of present quests, and in part for unique quests. The rewards should be extra quest items (like ToI blueprints), experience/SP or just regular items, recipes and materials (both base and key) especiálly.

Warsmiths do not deserve a way to make money in the field, that's what town is there for. :p Bounty Hunters, on the other hand...

PS: Warsmiths do need some loving, it should simply happen in town. ;]

Jeez...are you SURE about this?
It seems us low/new warsmiths have some real obstacles (not whining...just fantasizing).
DSS--the mainstay has been obliterated as a staple (selling at 11a is like NO profit to speak of)---players can get C-grade weapons and armor without us---there seem to be decidedly LESS new players on many servers to buy the stuff we lowbies can actually craft (d-grade stuff)---we're about as welcome in parties as a ****** in church.
I'm not feeling the LOVE here Maline :)
I like that idea though some quests for WS that would invovle porting form town to town so that a certain maestro will share his secrets with you. ( basically if we given ws a rec lets make it so they have to put it in thier book so they can;t flood the market and make my helm prices go down.

I almost went ballistic on my keyboard.
Hmmm? My Bounty Hunter makes alot more money than my Warsmith.

.... because u don't need to share ur spoils? ;)

money making for WS = A/S Grade stuff (if u have/get the rec's ....) maybe still B Grade :p
a quest for elves...like you have to run from here to here this fast, no soe and no porting from town...
oh wait...they did didn't they?

If you collect enough, a giant appears at sobling and gives you a kiss. It's really quite exciting.

i know BH that can make 10 mil a day while in party
at the same time they get xp

i can reliably make 4 mil a day
i get no xp
i lose 1 million a day soloing
every 4 days i hunt i have to spend 1 day crafting

we can argue back and forth what the best money making dwarf is but i think we all know its a lvl 1 dwarf fighter in giran

making one of the worst solo classes (with no party skills) have the only option to aquire recipies be kill multiple "party" type mobs is rediculous
if a quest was to be tailored for WS's it would involve soloing many 1x hp mobs

back on topic
i think quests should be designed specificatly for the strong points of each class with rewards relevent to the class and not just a case of who ever does the most damage in the least amount of time gets the most reward
