I'm sure MANY of u already know this but if u wanne edit L2 Movies just use the replay function at the Event without any lag and then replay it from login and record with fraps (or any other record program)...

If you use fraps, the game runs much worse, `cause of your cpu has to write to ur hard disk too. And while u PVP a little Swap of the harddisck can be letal.
The other thing is that, if u record with Fraps, the movie will NEVER look crystal clear, or the colors won t be that vivid as normally are, and frame skipping occurs very very often.
This is why the record function in C4 is priceless. You record at TOP QUALITY the game, the game doesen t runs slow a bit, it take like 100 kb on ur hard disk 30 minuts or more , and U CAN EVEN ROTATE the camera and pause the action. U can make "matrix " style movies without even have to be editing with a different software.
All u have to do is to record the game with fraps or smt else late, and u can choose the best codecs according to ur available disck space and needed video quality. And most important u can even code in hogh resolution , 1024X rez ur movies, thing that u cannot do even on a good PC, without losing frames or color quality, because of the codecs and low rpm of hards ( less then 10k averege)
You forget that you can't get any of the important stuff recorded with the in game function, which is what makes it worthless. It's only good for RP-style movies and short in-betweens really.
Nobody cares to see a PvP FRAPS without health bars or names or targets or even tags. :p
I aggree the Ingame Recorder is pretty bad but It'l probably get the missing Details Later. Well Many peeps post that they want the details but I never read the post's.
Has any NcSoft Staff Member given a vaild reason????
If not then I don't see why a group of well educated game moderators (or whatever they'r called.) can't implement it....
Not my fault your computer/video card/ISP sucks. I run even sieges at highest details, with fraps running and I don't lag. Sometimes I have to turn names off, that's about it.
As for the movies not looking crystal clear again, learn how to edit/render properly and they look almost flawless.
By the way you cannot PAUSE the in game recorder and rotate. At least I can't, it freezes everything until you unpause.
So again, replays are COMPLETELY and UTTERLY worthless for PVP. Period.
