Confused about Mammon

I tried to see Mammon today, but could not get into HC. Then I was told to see the Priest of Dawn and ask him. I could not find the link to allow me at access Mammon. Can anyone please talk me through? I even purchased records of the seven signs from the Priest to see if that would work, no joy sigh!!! :confused:

I believe he comes every other week, so he wasn't there last week, thus this week he should be in tombs. I am waiting on his lazy *** too so i can exchange some duals and other weapons. Hurry it up!!! :D

You have to sign up for the seven signs during the competition week, which starts this evening. Mammon will only show up during the seal validation period, which will start again next Monday. If it is the seal validation week and you are not signed up then you have no choice but to wait till you can sign up again, and then wait till Mammon shows up the following week.

Plus you have to join the side(Dusk or Dawn) that wins the seal of Averice in order to use him.

I know this is a moot point for most servers, but Gustin is having alot of fun right now.

Since he tried to go to HC the winning team must get Gnossis. Blacksmith with Gnossis, Merchant with Avarice.

You need to go and click on the Priest of Dawn and click on the 'Participate in seven signs' link.

Then depending on your level you will either be able to sign up for free (if you are under lvl 40) or have to pay 50,000 adena (lvl 40+). Just keep clicking on 'yes' or 'I agree' and chose any one of the options avarice, gnossis, etc - most people just pick avarice.

You will now be able to get into the catas/necros (to hunt and collect seal stones) this week. You can either turn in the seal stones this week, and help dawn to win, or keep them until next week and turn them in for an ancient adena reward.

Then pray that dawn wins the seven signs this time round - if so, you will be able to carry on getting into the catas/necros next week, which is the validation period, when the blacksmith of mammon appears (in the catas) and the merchant of mammon appears (in the necros). They both appear randomly, moving around the various catas/necros, so take some soe's with you and be prepared to port around the various catas, or else be prepared for a long wait in just one of them.

(nb - Ideally have two characters and sign one up for dawn and the other for dusk... so you have access to the blacksmith and merchant whichever side wins.)
