Noobish Question :S

Think this could sounds like a bit of a noobish question, but i have wondered 'bout ever sicne i began playing Lineage (2-3weeks ago)...
What does Recommonend does of anything positive?? It gives points to a certain score (cant remember name though) and what else? Many many many many many people are asking for those and i commonly gives buffers one, but what can you reach with those scores???

Nothing. It's a popularity contest.

your name starts turning blue, but they decay with time so you need to be rec'ed often to stay blue. Meaningless really.

The only thing 'recommend' does is change your name to blue. That's it. It was originally intended to indicate someone that people thought was honest or trustworthy or something..but since anyone can get it, it means nothing.

Recommends are a great thing.. before this was implemented i could not get buffs from a stranger if i dident pay him .. now i give a rec and get lvl52+ buffs :)

Well ... got atleast an answer to my next question: Why does some players name appear to be blue, lol!

at something like 70+ recs the name starts to get blue and more after that give the name more darker blue color.

I agree being blue doesn't make you a better person!!! I'm a prophet and I walk around buffing people without even asking for a rec cuz I don't care to turn blue but I still buff people for free no matter what :)

I don't beg for recs, I cheat. And, yes, we are better.

LOL how do you cheat? the only thing I can think of by cheating is having a box char of yours rec you or have your clan memebers constantly rec you but besides that how can you cheat to make yourself blue?
