I've been searching for Master Toma for the Scavenger class change and I can't find this bastard. I've looked in the 3 hinted locations and I can't find him. Which one is he at and where exactly?
They gotta make this the hardest class change..... having a 2 foot tall character run all over a massive starting zone. With no exact directions. Pure frustration.
So he isn't at all these places at once is he? I think this bastard is just playing hard to get. I'm searching in front of the mithril mines atm and still can't find anything.

I think dorfs have the worst CCQ's :| Toma is at those 3 locations but he teleports between and then sometimes winks out for a short while. Grab a few soe's and a few thousand adena, and just port out and back.
Cool. Thanks for the help. At least I don't feel alone anymore haha. I'll camp out at the northern island and log in and out while I play my archer I suppose.
(1) Port to the front of the Abandoned Coal Mines. Go into them turn left, go into big room, go into left corner where there is a ramp, go up ramp (Akaste Bone Warlord/Archers, Boogle Ratman, and Opal Beast), turn right, go straight until you see a ramp going down (Boogle Ratman Leader, Ore Bat, Pitchstone Golem, Corpse Candle). You will see a spiral staircase going above you. At the very bottom is one spot where Toma appears. (This spot takes no more than 2 minutes to go to from town). If not there, SOE.
(2) Port to Northeastern shore. Head directly south to the Mithril Mines. He is at the entrance at the bottom of the small ramp/stairs. If not there SOE.
(3) Port to Northeastern shore. Head Northwest across bridge following trail. Go to 24.5 and 43.5 where there is a river. Follow that river north on the left bank. When you get to the shore, you will see a island that is tall, but small in diameter. Go to the top of it. If not there, SOE.
Toma stays exactly ONE HOUR at each spot. If you miss him after going to all 3 spots, that means at some point in the 10 minutes that this should take you to go through all 3 spots, he has teleported to a new spot. Contrary to rumours, misbeliefs, and fairytales, he is never "missing." He is always at one of those spots. If you miss him, start over at the top of the list. You'll find him.
Recommended for trip. 3 Haste potions and at least 6 SOEs.
Hmmm...., Toma will say something when he's in one of the spot, ask the farmers/players around if they notice it. Help me much when i'm doing Scav&Crafter class change :)

I did my scavy quest about two weeks ago.
I had a 2 other, active characters stake out the Mithril Mines and island locations while i was seeing if I could kill all the mobs in the circle at the bottom of the coal mine.
(i did)
He wasn't there. He wasn't anywhere.
Unless he has a 4th Mystery location, or they changed one of his current 3 without me knowing...

Maybe he was out drinking with Mammon....
North entrance of the Mithril Mines or West entrance? If you are using the Gatekeeper to get to it, that is the wrong location. You must approach it from the North.
I've done Scavenger, Bounty Hunter, and Warsmith quests in each chronicle (either on live or PTS) and the locations have not changed. As far as I know or have read, there is no other location.
