crystal levels?

sry for the question, but didn't find nothing in the forum about it...
i was wondering: how do you make crystals (red one in my case) gain stages? and how do you get one at all?

The red, green and blue Soul Crytals are obtained by starting the quest "Enhance your weapon". You can do this quest from the moment you are lvl40.

Soul Crystals are lvled by using them on nearly-dead mobs (hp bar below 20%)...of course they break very fast so you will have to have patience to lvl them.

Easiest way (if you have the money) is just buy them of the market.

they break? :X oww, so there's the chanche they simply vanish on a % rate?
well... since i'm **** poor after i got my new sword... i think i'll do that way and take the risk :P

Nope but over lvl 10 they are lvled by raidbosses, so you can't do it by youreself.

this is wrong you can use it if the mob has below 50% hp and it will still work

Another, very noob question....
i found a red crystal 5. Apparantly someone who died. After shouting around, i still have it in my inventory.
I know it enhances your weapon. But : i dont know how ?
How do you use it ?

To apply SA to a weapon, you will need a crystal of appropriate stage (level) and color, then go to a blacksmith and pay for having the SA applied to the weapon, payment will be in appropriate grade gemstones + money

i'm starting leveling my prrrecious crystal... i need to get it at stage 8... is there a way to know how much mobs you need each stage? is not that important of course, but would be nice to know... (so i can keep count of mobs and see if i'm using it correclty... you know, it's a brand new thing to do for me :P)

Well, if everything goes nice and peachy, to get a lvl 8 crystal, all you need is 8 mobs.

In reality, that's not teh case. Lots of failed attemps, many breaks. If it breaks, then go get a new crystal and start all over.

By the way, you can only keep 1 crystal on you when you're trying to charge it.

anyway, i noticed that if you put the crystal in WH you can get a second to npc... and probably go on like this and keep some of 'em in WH ready to be... wasted :P

or drop them on the ground the % of success for me is around 7% ive notced i went from a lvl 5 to a lvl 8 in 3 mobs b4 also..
