Light vs. Heavy Armor?

My monk is nearing his second class change, and he's going to need some better equipment.

I'm currently using a set of Brigandine armor (mostly because I had one available), but since I'm missing out on some evasion and accuracy the question I want to ask is:
As an orc tyrant to-be, should I use heavy or light C-grade armor?

If you can get hold of Plated Leather, then go for that, if not, wear heavy, since your evasion boosts are still low.

Agreed, plated leather gives you +4 str with little penalty. They have Demon to for casters that does about the same. They have no heavy equivalent though.
