Blade Dancers and Bows

Does anyone know if there would be any benefit for a bladedancer to use a bow? I'm currently a grade, lvl 68 and I'm using a +7 tsu*sls [ :( I still miss my +12s so much]

I'm considering getting a bow of peril to hunt with as well. I figure I could dance, switch to the bow, get off a shot or two and then switch to duals to finish off the mobs.

So...have any other bladedancers out there used this kind of strategy or is it just plain stupid?
its expensive, but not stupid.

expensive in both MP and adena.
Bows make BDs very good in PvP, but you do more damage with your duals in PvE.
I have a level 54 BD and I'm going to try to use her for pvp if I can and as a pvp BD i've been told to use a bow but when I'm soling or in a group killing mobs the best weapon to have is Duals!
I think its expensive but a smart idea for a BD to use a bow! You have good strength...and a couple of distanced damage shots before engaging a enemy certainly helps. Keep in mind tho that a bow uses mana...and a BD that dances (particularly in parties) has to be on top of mana management. A bow can burn your mana down significantly if unchecked.
I know many BD's that have a bow and they hit **** hard with it! They just dont have range of an archer.
This is where style meets substance. It's not a bad idea to keep a bow handy. They are the perfect weapon to have in certain situations. I use one for my SK and BD. But I don't use it as often as you intend.

The fact is if you're not an archer, using a bow actually slows down your XP rate/hr. You don't have an archer's passives which increase attack speed. As such, in the time that it takes you to launch an arrow, you could have cast hex and been a step closer to getting your next crit. And if you're carrying Tsu*SLS, that is what it's all about. You have to be of a mind that you want to get to your next crit as soon as possible. That determines how quickly a mob drops, and how quickly you XP.

Get a bow either way and try it out. If it fits your style, and time is not an issue, I say go for it.
