heya,

I was wondering, for the dagger classes, do you need to have a dagger in the main hand for the dagger attacks, or can you jsut have one in the offhand with a sword on the mainhand?

Also, are the attacls of human warlords require pole arms, or can you use 2hand swords? Thanks guys!
Daggers are not dual wielded, so you equip a dagger and it goes into the one inventory slot on your character for them. No main or off hand.
thanks for the reply!

Im all confused now, I thought that the DE and elven dagger classes could dual wield...

What about the human warlords? do they only use pole arms?
You could say that the dagger is in your main hand and say a shield is in your off hand.....Any class can dual wield but do they have the masterys for it...

The bladedancer does
Ah, thanks for clarifying. I just quit WoW a few months back, so I still have the WoW mentality!

I'm looking for a DD type of toon. Looking at gladi, orc destroyer, and bladedancer. Is the BD decent in damage? I know its a hybrid, but the first 2 look like kite bait....
I'm the wrong one to answer those questions.....

If you gots a question about orcs fighters and monks under 29 i'm your orc, for all else others will have to answer :)
With a pair of crit duals, BDs are very decent DDs (special ability: Focus). From C grade and up, you can put special abilities (SAs) on weapons. They are put on with SA crystals level 5-13 +some adena. however, duals are different. They need to be enchanted to 4 to get special ability, and there's only one to choose from per type of duals. Enchanting to +3 is safe, but to +4 they have a risk of breaking. So make sure you have the money to buy a new pair of duals, should you fail. (BDs need duals to dance).
Orc Destroyers are Awesome and .........Rare.

Just don't be a pansy and use a Shield/Blunt. IMO that's stupid for a Destroyer. 2 Handed sword is the best.
I think i'll go with BD, i like doing damage but I don't want to be kiting all the time...

are there times when there are close quarter combat situations, like indoors or heavy wooded area kind of deal? kiting would be less of a problem then.
