Total n00b question here... i have a trial version of the game, so I donthave the manual..
What are soulshots and spiritshots? WHy do my weapons say x1?

Short and snappy answer.
Soulshots make your weapons do x2 damage.
Spiritshots make your Spells do x1.5 Damage
Blessed Spiritshots Make spells do x2 damage and increase casting speed.
Each 'charge' of shots is good for only one swing or one spell.
The 'X' modifier on a weapon (x1/x2/x3) indicates how many shots it takes to 'charge' the weapon.
Shots ONLY work on Physical attacks or skills, and Spirit shots ONLY work on spells. You may need to test to see if certain skills are spells or physical skills.
To use, right click the shots, the weapon will 'pop' a glow and will be charged. Or Put the shots on your toolbar and right click to make them 'autouse' instead of charging each manually.
There are also 'beast' shots for your pets to use. (Put them on your toolbar like your shots. although sticking them on a different # activating, and swappuing back to your main # is fine too.)
Oh and most important thing.....SHOTS ARE EXPENSIVE!
They are the single largest 'money sink' in the game.
Unless your making money elsewhere, (manor/Sell/Lucky Drop) use them sparingly or you will be perpetually broke.
