I don't know if there are other posts about this, I tried a search and found a whole lot of stuff that didn't relate (><), so here is my question...
Why, oh why, are the common craft recipe books so very big and the Dwarven recipe books so very small? There are a LOT (and I mean a L-O-T) more recipes for Dwarves than for common craft, yet we are limited rather severely. Yes, we can expand with Proofs of catching a fish, but it still seems terribly unfair to have so much freedom with your common craft books. Most people will never even get them half way full, whereas I am constantly having to delete recipes from my main as soon as I get my new arti high enough to take stuff over for her. It's ridiculous.
Give dwarves more slots, there are hundreds of recipes, and most of my book is filled with mat stuff . Please Please consider making our books bigger, even if just a bit more.
Do you know of skill expand dwarven craft bought with profs of fishing at WS skill trainers? That's a way to increase your's craftbook.
And dont the comon and dwarven crafts have same number of slots?
Oh yeah, we can get more slots....but the point is that there are what, like fifty common craft slots, and I think that is pretty close to how many actual recipes for common craft that there are....whereas dorfs have fifty, (64? I think now for me) and there are HUNDREDS of recipes we could be using....we need more space, I mean two of my seven slots on this account are totally taken up only because of crafting needs....nevermind my other two accounts.
Common craft is equal in space and in the ability to expand, but dwarven craft has many many more recipes. We need mroe space, it's not like we get much else to keep us playing our dorfs as it is.
Actualy, I'm somewhat agree to that.
A good thing in the limit of slots it's that clan/ally will need more crafters since one can't hold all needed recipes. It might of worked if there were less craftshops and such..
Instead of destroying the recipe (when you remove it from the book), it would be nice if it would turn back into a recipe item, so at least then I don't lose the recipe (and have to hunt again).
I believe this was done intentionally so that there would be diversification for dwarfs to find niche markets. If all dwarfs can hold all recipes, it'd be kind of mundance and everyone could just compete on the same items. but by limiting the craft book, players will have to think hard on which recipes to actually keep to make a profit. It takes more brainpower this way and its better for the market overall...I would assume.
