Advice for a future SH Please

I'm currently in my 30's on my Dark Wizard going SH and I was just wondering what is the best Gear & Weapon for them at level 40? I've been told Doom BUT Doom takes away -270 of your life? and I've been told Karimain cuz it gives you faster cast speed? and I've been told the Homokulus sword is the best with the Acumen SA on it? could someone please let me know what is the best? thank you very much in advance

Armor= Demon Set/FP Helm and Boots/Knights Shield(this shield looks best imo :p)
Weapon=Homu/acu
Tattoos= +4int -4Men +4Con -4Str +4Wit -4Men

Awesome thas what I was hoping for! :) I would also just like to ask how hard is it for the SH Quests at level 35,37 & 39?

club of nature and inferno staff also have acumen now if you don't like the homunkulus.

Will they match up perfectly fine to the sword? and are they one handed just incase I prefer a shield?

I just did these quests.

They aren't hard exactly, but long...very, very, very long. :) Along the way you have to kill some mobs that are magic resistant so that's not overly fun. Bring a healer friend with you on the Ivory Tower stuff if you can.

Oh that sucks now I kinda wish I still had my duals LOL I guess I might want to pick up some kind of weapon again so that when it does come to those quests I'll be able to kill them without magic heh Thanks again!

easier to kill them with magic even though they are resistant. Takes maybe double the nukes so more downtime. Thats all though ;)

Ok and I just wanted to check if I'm using the right stuff? I'm currently have the full Knowledge set for Casting Speed and an SOL with a shield should I be using the Mithril Robes instead for more MP or is the Knowledge set better? Considering that if I run out of MP I can just use BTM but I don't have a kill that will increase my casting speed.

I did it with the knowledge, and I didn't even have the gloves so no set bonus. ;)

Like I said, just have a healer/recharger friend and you will be fine.
