I have an account that didnt get hacked but had an un-authorized access and I know who did it becuase he told me he did on myspace. He used to live near me, however, he has moved to another state so I cannot go to his house.
He had quit L2 awhile back and started playing private servers, but the other day when I was typing my login/pass and the game client was a bit laggy, he messaged me on AIM and I hit enter. Therefore sending him my info accidentally. I would of changed the password but I typed an incorrect DOB when making the account.
Since he had been playing Pvt recently I did not really think twice about it. Anyway, I logged on this morning and all my gear was gone.
Any suggestions as to how I can get my DOB changed so I can change the password to PlayNC? I can still login the game but not into the site. Also, is there any way I can find out the Character name or Gaming Account Username of the person who stole the gear?
I have tried talking to him however he is not a big fan of me.

Where can I find a phone number? I can never get a good response via the ticket system...
Also just so it don't bring up an issue this is my friends account, he would be calling/posting. He does not know much about computers so he asked that I post here for him.

You will very likely not get your gear back - you should have contacted support right away (and fixed your DoB when you realised it was wrong).

However, you will probably be able to get back into your master account - simply contact support (see the bottom left of the menu of the menu).

That's quite the series of misfortunes there, sorry to hear that. Especially the bit about the DOB.

99% of the guys saying "MY ACCOUNT GOT HACKED" happens almost like this.
1% of the account hacks are real, all others, just your close friend screwing you or someone in your home that found your login/pass and or someone hacked your Computer and stole your login/pass "example: all the 3th programs for L2 are mostlikely viruses or trojans".
anyhow i'm sorry to hear/read this but there is 100% sure you never gona see your gear again. best thing you can do is if your 100% sure your friend did it, go to him and make his stay on the world some harder, kick the hell outha him just to make you feel beter :) go PK him and say "OWNAGE". lolz joke ;) or not.

I'd love to do just that, however he moved to another state as I said.
He did get on my computer before when he lived near me and took my gear, however I got it back after talking to him.
Right now this is a matter of getting my DOB changed so I can change my password and he cannot log into the account in the future. Afterwards, I'd like to know the account owners name or the name of the char that the items were traded to. I have a feelin he was givin a friends account and has the stuff on it, this is based on a few words that he has said to me. He did not directly tell me, however it can easily be figured with some common sense.
If there is a way I can find the PlayNC Account owners name I could look up the phone number and give him a call, since I know my ex-friend will not give any information to me.

And i very doubt they will release that type of information about another player to you.....

I think you learned a very important lesson from this, and that is never to share ANY detail of your gaming account with NO ONE.

same thing happened to me (gave a friend the password for emergencies) lost about 40 mil of gear on my se
best i could do was change my password and start working on reequiping the se :/

Yeah, I know I wont get the gear back unless I knew for a fact who did it. Oh well, and he did not give the info out intentionally.
Anyways, no one gave me the phone number as I requested.
Thanks, I found it on the CC bill however.
He called and got his DOB corrected and now can change his info.
Luckily he only lost about 30m instead of hundreds of mil like one of my other friends have in the past.
