Hey guys im thinking of starting a orc mystic as an alt..I have 3 accounts.. one with my mains on it... (full)...the other an SE and the other a Prophet...I'm going ot be making the Orc on either the SE's account or the Prophet.. but I want to know which character's buffs would be better for the Orc mystic.. Thanks in advance
Imo a Prophet buffs outranks an SE's buffs...hate to admit but we have only Vampiric Rage and Empower as really strong buffs. For your Mystic only VR seems useful out of those 2.
I disagree simply because of two buffs :p. Empower and VR will speed you through 1-40 in no time. Haste and Acumen are ok, but both are cheap to buy pots since I am guessing you have some adena from the other account. As a orc mystic you will mostly melee, or so I did. You could use drain, but drain vr and empower are so much better. No doubt about it. Go with SE. I wish I had one when I lvled. But all my buffers and healers are on one account, and fighter on another. Wish I had at least one buffer in the fighter account :(, but it's all good. SE!!!!!!!!!
prophets can give them holy weapon and zerk, that's about it as far as buffs they dont have that they can use.
SE's can give them empower.
i'm not sure which is more useful, but empower does help land rate on debuffs which WC's find useful.
i'd say it comes down to personal preference. would you rather pure melee, or dot then melee. also bear in mind you're gonna be fighting greens most the time, so your dots will most likely land anyway.
With an SE buffbot you can fight anything you want. There really is no reason to go Prophet. Empower for debuffs, Vr for melee. Recharge if you ever run out of mp because of debuffs (unlikely). Great heals. What else could you possibly need?
Thanks everyone for you input im gonna be leveling my orc with my SE as most of you said so ;).... or i can jsut wait and delete my level 3 de mystic and replace it with the orc then use both pp and se lol :)
See I would go Prophet for the buffs they've got acumen which will increase casting speed and might and WW and health regeneration and I think by far they will help you out the most!
Shaman get a buff that increases casting speed. SE's get Windwalk and Might. Vampiric Rage regenerates health, sometimes much better than Regeneration.
It just boils downs to which you want more, Zerk/holy weapon or Emp/Recharge/better heals.
As a WC every other useful buff you get yourself, or buy pots for until you get higher lvls of the skills (haste/acumen). With either a phophet or SE the VR doesn't matter that much since either can heal, or you could just heal the orc using drains/CoL.
phophet might actually be faster since holy weapon and zerk both will increase kill speed, but at later lvls emp would be nice to have.
