Half Plate

I was browsing through the Library and i saw a Half Plate armor (grade D), but i didnt find it in the NPC shops :(
Is it like the Knight Swords, do you have to go the Blacksmith of Mammon to get this kind of armor, or is there another way to find it ?

The blacksmith doesn't do armour - you will have to craft or raid for it.

you will find that almost all the past d grade and some top d grade are not sold in npc shops: only player crafted/raid dropped ^^

Half Plate is very rare. I played the game for about 8 months before I found a set for sale. Surprisingly the set isn't that expensive, probably due to the lack of set bonus.

brig set no only has an SA... but with the Pdef bonus... makes it have more Pdef in the end.

i pimped my wanna be paladins ride w/ half plate ^^
got helm for 1.5mil
BP for 4.5mil
crafted gaiters from all dropped stuff
boots crafted from all dropped stuff
and shield got for 500k

I saw a human knight with full half plate set and +16 SoR once, he's my hero.

I sold mine in C3 for 1 mill top, 700k bottoms, 400k boots. But 4.5 mill? geez

Half Plate is craft/drop only, not seen much in private stores, but good to have. Most folks prefer the Brig Set, but I think HP looks better. Note: the gaiters are called 'Plate Gaiters,' just to be confusing I think.

Yep. It's Half Plate Armor, Plate Gaiters, Plate Helm, Plate Shield, Plate Boots.

I had Half-Plate for my female human Warrior for awhile (because it's teh hawt secksay), but ultimately, wearing Brig was much better in the long run. So when my Knight graduated into his Full Plate finally (had to wear that full +3 brig set for such a looong time), I passed down my Brig to the Warrior.

Note - Brig Boots and Gloves are very, very freaking hard to find. And the helmets are WAAAY expensive now. I bought mine for 600k and thought that was too much. Now they go for, what, 3m+?

I have recipes for brig helm, shield, boots and gaunlets but good luck getting the pieces. I did like 2 levels east of HV and got maybe 5 brig helm designs. I did 2-3 levels under IT and got maybe 1 brig gauntlet design. Craziness. I got more full drops under there (plate shield, manti boots) than brig pieces.

I get about an extra 40pdef with the half plate set than I do with the brig.

I got about 20 brig gauntlet designs when I levelled Faelir there - but I think he went from like 40 to 46 there, and of course he has the 30% leech pony. <.<;;

The drop rate is crazy low, especially considering I got the whole boot (manticore) and not enough bits to actually craft one.

Did you ever get the boots and gloves? Only reason I had the boots is because I got it from a drop. You can get boots and gloves with same or better P.def for alot less than the brig boots and gloves. Since they are not part of the set no since in spending the adena on them. Specialy at D grade lvl's when your broke all the time.

Not as many people farming parts or crafting brig anymore so helm is way too high.

I just finished farming for Manticore boots and it took me days literally of killing nothing but the mob that drops the parts.
