third class dwarf skills

wisdom?
health?
lol?
i hear wisdom doesnt even work
and health? why do we need resist bleed/poison? we have cure bleed and poison is easily cureable by your neighbourhood SE

obviously an offensive skill is what we need
and no lvl 77 isnt a reasonable lvl to aquire it
well... considering that i may never be able to stick to my BH untill this high level, i don't think the real problem of dwarves is about those lv77 skills.

I don't even feel concerned (the day could be this high, other classes like nukers/archers would be 78/75/75, i'll bet my spoil on that).
problem lies in that we are classed as DD yet we get tank skills at 76
why do mages get a skill that allows them to 1 hit 4x hp mobs and all i get is some useless pvp passives?
Because.

Simple as that. :p

Cal
There are 3 skills worth to get.

Spoil Crush (76) - better and faster spoil (for me works 30-50% better on yellow+ mobs)
Armor Crush (77 lev)
Wisdom (76) - will be fixed in C5

Also is worth to enchant regular spoil for HP debuff (realy this work like poison) but need min +4 (and better +8) - at +1/+2 is impossible to land it even on blue mobs.
all BH skills :(
i do get to enchant the golem i guess but that will just bring it up to the appropriate lvl
hopefully enchanting stun and stuff will have an effect
i met an old dorf buddy in the arena the other day
lvl 77 fortune seeker
spent like 30 mins trying out the skills, not very impressive :(
Warlords get the same skills at lvl 76. Gotta love NC.
So do Duelists.
And Summoners.
Be happy you are not a sorc. They ONLY get wisdom at lvl 76, nothing else. A non-working skill for 30m SP :)

(well I personally got two non-working skills plus one useless one at lvl 76, but at least it's more than my Archmage clannie got...)
Be happy not to be a Silver Ranger.

Every other bow user gets body to mind.... Go figure.

****it.
The spoil dot might be the best dot in the game. If it landed consistently I would say it would be overpowered :O Does around 2k damage at a VERY fast rate. 4 ticks and your CP and some HP is gone. I've got spoil+3 and spoil festival+3 and they are very nice in pvp. But I rarely notice them land in pve. I'll try +8 when I get to lvl 78. Also dwarves might have the best skill enchants in the game. Unlike the other classes who can only enchant for power, cost and chance etc. Dwarves get to enchant their skills for something entirely different...

Spoil: Enchant for atk speed debuff or hp debuff
Spoil Festival: Enchant for atk speed debuff or hp debuff
Blunt masteries: For patk or critical power
Sweeper: For drain hp or drain mp
Whirlwind: Power or cost
Hammer Crush: Cost or chance
Wrath: Cost or chance
Boost hp: Enchant for cp or hp(not worth it though)

I'm not sure why you wouldn't be impressed with the dwarves 3rd class skills. Because they are pretty **** good. Armor crush lowers pdef and mdef by 30% and stuns. Riposte stance reflects 30% melee dmg and reflects debuffs. Earthquake does damage and causes the enemy to drop target. And parry stance is a self toggle warding+earth. And oh, Spoil crush. Its like Hammer crush w/o the stun+spoil. I consider it to be spoil lvl 12. Nice improvements to the class imo. But honestly most of this should of been done for the lower lvl players.

looks like BH might have got a better deal on third class skills unless i can enchant lvl 1 spoil or sweep (not sure about that but i doubt it)

the reason i said the skills were gimp (and yes ripstance reflects a hell of allotta damage) the dude i was trying skills on didnt know how they worked so i tryed stunning him...
he would have ran out of mp before he actually reflected a stun so i had to recharge him
he managed to land armor crush on my about the 6th or 7th try and it was a huge reduction to my pdef but then on the next hit guess what? it broke
i didnt get a chance to check out spoil crush but im willing to bet it doesnt land all that often

(...)And oh, Spoil crush. Its like Hammer crush w/o the stun+spoil. I consider it to be spoil lvl 12.

"Spoil crush" skill is more like "insta casting spoil 12 lev".

When you use regular spoil you stop fighting with mob for 1-3 sec (while spoil skill "in use").
With SpoilCrush not but one SS is consumed and damage is same than regular phisical attack.
When you use hammer crush - no SS used.

Spoil crush has the same casting time as Spoil when I'm fully buffed...Both are pretty fast but in no way instant. I'm not sure what your saying, that spoil crush no SS can be used?? I'm not sure. Yeah it does around the same damage as a normal hit with or w/o SS. To bad I can use it with a pole ;O.

Spoil crush has the same casting time as Spoil but while you doing spoil crush you ALSO hiting mob.
So spoil crush = "spoil with not breaking fighting".

Regular spoil take same time but while you use this skill you not hiting mob.
This look:
fight...spoil (2 sec break)....fight

Its realy small diference but anyway - 1 hit per fight more :)

This damage what you doing while you are using spoil crush is not damage "skill type" but "phisical/weapon type".

If you use skill like hammer crush - SS is not consumed.
With spoil crush SS is consumed so realy this skill dont have "power XXXX".

And about instant/non-instant.
You can spoil mob and dont do any damage - just target mob, use spoil and imidiately move.
But you cant use spoil crush and dont hit mob 1-2 times - so for me this spoil work "instant" :)

Thx you just answered alot of questions I've been wondering about. Still I think dwarves get gimped in the skills situation though because sure you might get warding self buff or whatnot but mages get a spell which just increases the gap further from say hurricane hitting you without warding on.

Aren't you there soon?

Hmmm I estimate 6 - 12 months from now, and that's without worrying about the subclass quest.

Cal

Edit: Hmm thinking about it 12 months is really, really optimistic considering I make ~ 25% a week at my current level and it will be four times as slow soon. Probably never then, in more than two chronicles BHs can be nerfed far beyond the point I'd still like to play one.
Aren't you in the 70's by now? Or was that put off because of break?

But hey at least you have A-grade, I am still grinding my way up the mid-high 60's in B-grade :(
940% until subclass. :p Read lvl 65 60%... since anyone can mop the floor with my toon anyway feel free to disclose that information to anyone you think could use or abuse it. :p

Working 40 hours per week for sure leaves less time to play than school... with all the sweet vacations. T_T For my summer break I have another job waiting... and in Fall I hope I'll get a spot at University... even less time to play. :)

We will see... in any case I don't think I'll make more than a level per month, more than half a level per month when 70+. Being at war with SP doesn't really help my progress either. :p

Cal
At least its less % loss per death.

And yeah, I know we dwarves suck at PvP badly. I do have the honor though of being one of the few dwarves on Erica to kill j0Y, lol. Took alot of anklebiting though.
