I always notice almost no one plays a BH. Each clan has 1 or 2 at most , at raids and castle sieges u barely see a BH.
The thing is, 1 or 2 BHs are not enough to supply mats and keyparts to equip the clan. So we buy our mats and keyparts or full items from the "professional players".
So that makes me think, an influx of "non-professional" BHs
might severely hurt the professionals. Before u say BHs are worthless, I am a BH and can spoil keyparts for a full BW and Doom Set and a Bweapon every evening,and get a lot of additional mats as well.
Playing a BH is FUN. Every time the mob turns blue, it is like Christmas morning opening a present, you are never sure what you will get but you are getting something.
I can sit all day on my lowbie scav, and farm materials. Yipee! Getting someone to buff and recharge me while I do it..not likely and I do not 2box. But honestly, theres no space left for me to farm bones anymore, the 2 areas in my level range are swarming with the pros. I can bring my main in and remove them, but they'll be back in 5 minutes. Though there are a few groups in PH missing large chunks of gear right now*whistles*

B grade is lowbie junk now! seriously though BH are pretty worthless they suck in pvp/seiges, raids, groups. Perhaps the spoils are nice but if you have to pick between a BH and a dd that will boost kill speed most people will skip the BH. And the few BH's we have on the server are greedy complaining when they have to share spoils even though they are being carried by the goup and not a equal contributer. But seriously who needs BH's when you can just kill raid mobs for full gear!
more BH's wont help much at all, yeah I can take up why really.
first off the bigest flaw, not a single monster abow lv 60 spoil bone, coal, charcoal, animal skin (up to crafted leatehr), iron, iron ore. ( probobly missed some )
And if you maby didnt know lv 1-60 is about 10-15% of the way to 75... and this is the only time you can OBTAIN this mats, so yes higher lever BH's is more then completly freeking pointless in this game. Sure you bring some incresed cash to the group but thats it.
Secondly A grade armor and up, yeah only quest, Same for S grade, so what the point of having an BH now? yeah we can't even spoil the mats we need at this lv. They have prommesed thoght that All A grade will now be spoilable, but well see about that I guess, still S grade is still locked out for us.
Then thers ben a billion of nerfs every chronicle as well wich make BH's less and less and less needed,in fact C5 if they keep up the plan they have now on PTS, BH's is not needed at all, in fact WS is almost compleetly useless to if it wasent for Crafting S grade.
Anyhow there is still a few BH's left on every server, we aint many nowdays, I know many have alt BH's but they are only played to gain resources, I play my BH becose I like the class, but every chronicle it's just get harder to play one, specialy as you get nerfed indirectly in every chronicle.
And not to mention our combat capability, I have no clue why we are so nerfed in this to, maby BH's is just an ultimate class for.... well not gonna mention it.
In the end I hope something some times get done to it, as right now the only thing who keep me playing is hiting 75 and to subclass, not way to far off now, just a half year more to go or so....
My clan has a 77 BH (fortune seeker, whatever) and that char spoils S grade jewelry parts by the handful, A weapon blades, and EAA and EWA. Not a bad deal really.

Share spoil....is the reason no one plays the class anymore and all the things you mentioned above.
You know, I get a little tired of hearing that Materials are the only way to make money. Its bull. A and S grade weapon armor and jewlery parts and recipes(for A grade weapons/jewlery) are STILL good moneymakers. Enchant scrolls are ALWAYS good, no matter what level you are. Theres plenty of reasons to play a BH into the higher levels, but people are so narrow minded about what the BH is good for that they dont realize it.
I got no real drops , except an occasional animal bone or varnish.
It certainly wasnt more then 3 hours, I only play 3 hours/evening maximum during the week.
But there are places in C4 areas that are goldmines for spoilers. Beast Farm is the best, and u can solo well because the trained pets buff and heal u.
Just to say that there are also hidden boosts to BHs every chronicle.
That list isn't totally out of the question, I just wondered as to the wide range of different items, including quite a few Mith Ores and SOP's. If you were at the beast farm, that explains it, because each transformation of the baby beasts has a different spoil table.
For a BH in the 70's FOD is the place to go. Its very easy to get a few Majestic ring and earring recipes every hour. I went there once with a friend he was the bh spoils on share and I left with 3 maj earring recipes and two ring so 5 recipes total he had another 4 himself and that was only after 3 hours of play. I sold the recipes for about 1.5 so 7.5 million for myself for three hours hunting was nice.

few problems id assume w/ BH class.
1. Because they contribute so little to the group they are expected to share spoils. (which BTW DEFEATS the purpose of playing a dwarf.)
solution?
make them just as much pve worthy as any other class so they contribute in dmg and then take out of game spoil share.
2. people think that because they give the dwarf xp the dwarf should give them money.

when a dwarf gets higher in lvl all they ever do is share their spoils more and more, making them just as poor thru out the entire game.

Share spoil is here to stay forever and ever and ever and it's not ever going to go away. People in L3 will want and expect spoilers to share spoils. (Yeah I know there are some golden loveydovey clans who let their poor BH keep all the spoils (ruple gets misty eyed))

The majority of BH's don't need better pve skills cause they have A BIG OL TRAIN FULL OF WALKER RUN DDs assisting them from mob to mob; crap, they don't even need soul shot. Conclusion: Bh is a farmer class, and the farmers are happy with them the way they are. NCsoft can check data and they see thousandS of bounty hunters being played 24/7 with no grips.
And then there are people who want spoils increased. Not happening! The above mentioned thousandS of farmer spoilers would flood the economy with whatever materials increased. This extra amount of materials would cause deflation in the price of that hardware. If you can't figure out the negative consequences of this without hearing a conspiracy theory then you'll have to just wonder as I'm not allowed to give you any ideas as to why they want the prices to remain skyhigh.
btw, if anyone on bartz wants to farm bone in apostate cata; at 56 I'm at the perfect level for it. After I level a few more levels you can go back to flipping me off when I try to beg into your group.

Erica must be nice. On bartz, farmers have most of those mobs camped. I know this cause my ES needs to hunt those mobs and they are always camped. If ncsoft did what you are suggesting; it is certain that every solo mob would be camped on all the servers.
Making BH a good solid pve class,- like the other warriors,- would make me happy, and I didn't mean to sound insulting.
The poor spoil % issue goes down a wore-out road that begs the question of why gear is so rare. The pro-company people believe that sorry spoils are a way to keep top gear rare. The company bashers believe that drops/spoils are sorry so more people will cheeat. All I know is that a nice increase of spoils would cause deflation in gear prices whether that is good or bad.
Rupleskin you are probably someone that thinks the BH needs festival sweep.. If you are good at playing your class then you really don't need festival sweep, unless your talking about the C3 aoe groups in AB, however in standard pole aoe groups there are few enough mobs(with higher hp) so sweeping all of them is managable. Sweeping 8-16 mobs in TOI/AL/SOS/or a catacomb is a piece of cake.
There is a huge difference between a stupid/botted BH and a good BH.
I am not sure what class your talking about but I know that 2 BHs can keep a whole set of rooms cleared in martyrs(about 4-6 rooms). I would stay that is a characteristic that solid PVE classes have.
..... The class may be bad when comparing PVP abilities, however they aren't as gimped as many of you make them out to be.
