Are macros any use to fighter classes? I have a rogue character and would be interested if anyone has any thoughts on macros for this class especially. Magic users have all the fun with macros :(.
Thanks for any help.

Those are all pre 40 you might use... there are a hell of a lot more that could help you out.
Is it actually possible to use 'tank' (meaning it'll target tank type players in your group) or do you need to change the name everytime?
I'm actually quite sure what the answer will be, but just in case..

Since you guys are talking about this, is there anyway I can have a macro that allows me to switch weapons w/o using a skill in between?
Say like I'm on bar 2. Have BoP in slot #10, Stilleto in 11 and Shield in 12. Anyway it can be done so that with a Push of a button I can switch the equipped gear between BoP and Stilleto + Shield? and then Back?

I always wondered how people pickup stuff so fast. I made this macro the day before the independance Day event. Oh man did it pay off. This is the first macro I make on any toon even before I leave town the first time.
Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I kinda figured that was the case. I'll just keep using the pick up key. It's located comfortably under my middle finger :) (This is not a hidden comment to drop rates :) )

You can make one macro per equipment configuration.
Put all the weapons, armors, accesories and shield on a shortcut bar you don't use.
In the Macro Edition Window, create a macro and simply drag the shortcut button for the Stilletto on the first line and the shield on the second line.
Click done and voila.
Don't forget that during a macro, you must not do anything else or you will stop it. I.E: If you click your macro and chat at the same time, you might equip the Stilleto without the shield.
Also, if you hit the macro while you are actually equiped with the desired weapon and shield, you will actually unequip them and be bare-handed. :(
I personally don't like using macros to change equipments because I might interrupt it accidently and have to reequip manually afterwards.
