Movement

Hola,

New to L2. Coming from other MMORPG. Finding movement a bit of a challenge. How do people find that they move most often? Click to move or wasd?
I miss straifing and moving backward. Also turning on a dime is proving difficult. Was wondering what other people have done to make the adjustment.

I mostly use klick to move, in small spaces (doors, for example) I use arowkeys. Never used wasd, and here if you use it you iwll need to click on chat each time you whant to type something, and i find that annoing.

From what you've said about Strafing and moving backwards i'm gonna guess you're coming from WoW.

Those movement skills aren't really necessary in L2 because if you do strafe around someone casting in this game, unlike WoW, they follow target.

As for moving backwards, don't see why you would want that unless you plan on kiting pretty hardcore.

And yeah, click to move is probably the most used and easiest way to get around in L2.

using wasd or arrow keys in this game is a bit clumbsy.

Imagine your Character is like a mob..... they only turn left or right, and forward.
This aint counterstrike, there is no strafing (no real need anyway)

Left click to move, right click and hold to look. Easy.

Click to move.
