My Worst Day

Well my Wife's worst day in L2 just happened, We have been saving clan mats for months, and since my wife is 72, and still has a C grade weapon (Ghouls staff), the clan desided to help her craft an SOM. We figured that we would fail 1 craft so we got enough for two crafts.....

They both failed..... OMG 60% sucks
So the moral is..... at 72 some ppl still have C grade weapons..

Blew up 30mil worth of armour trying to overenchant a doom set... C5 patch notes tempted me with their additional bonuses for armour sets at +6.

I've also tried +4ing B grade duals... took me four attempts before it worked.

Still, not a patch on 2x SoM crafts...

trying to get a set of BO thats as good as majestic at a lower cost, broke 3 +5 BO rings in a row trying to get just one of them to +6. no wait that wasnt the worst...a few days later i broke 5 more +5 BO rings, in a row. enchanting suxxors.

and to think i can't even afford a BO Recipe @ lvl 62

When EAD's were like 10k I tried to over just one ring (out of about 15) to +6 but none of them went above 5, most blew at 4.

bring a BH with you to the deep rooms of apos or the first rooms of astetics (the parts spoil like candy), i cant remember which mobs exactly, but why pay for it when its free?
wait...i have a worst day...when my neighbor ran into my car at 15+ mph while trying to parrallel park without a driver's license, totaling both vehicles and every day since then he has come to my apartment to ask me to translate insurance papers from the company he rented his car from because he doesnt speak [censored] english! and can i please drive his [censored] to the grocery store since he has no car and he is hungry??? wait...that was the same [censored] day.
PS: my lvl 22 DSS crafter is not my main, its just the name i happened to use for these forums.

After the pumpkin event, I decided to try some overenchanting of various weapons.

Lots of crystals later :( Ok I thought, can't continue to be unlucky so I tried overenchanting my excess jewelry, going to try 12 of them...managed to get 1 to +5, rest blew.

Ok, this sucks, so instead I tried my luck at crafting.

3 60% failed crafts later I just gave up pretty depressed.

And this is why I refuse to use a 60% craft, 2 crafts do not equal a 120% rate of success, though it would be nice it did.
If you flip two coins in succession, getting a heads on the first does not guarantee or improve the chances of getting a tails on the second coin, its still a 50% probability.

What? What server is this? I constantly see BO recipes for 50k apiece. What are you doing so wrong?
50k adena to me is like 10 min worth of grinding.

And if you come to Erica, I can sell you black ore ring gemstones cheap, I usually sell those to the shop anyway.

My worst day was selling my A set ( tallum robes ) and my weapon ( +3 Dasparion Staff with Acumen ) just to buy an Avadon set ( which costed 10m more then last time.. wtf) and and a SOM.... just to find out I only have enough for enchantments and A gemstones... but being EIGHTY MILLION ADENAS short of aquiring a lvl 12 blue.

Did I mention farmers have the lvl 11-12 crystal spawning mobs on lock down?
