Hey all, im back and well, a lot more knowledgeable about the game then I was when I asked this question about 4months back. Call me a **** and whatever you want but to me atleast, the game has changed and well, wanted your opinions again. Its about 61+ SWS gear. My Current setup is +3 BW Heavy Set with a Clean Dragonslayer. Reading up a little on the not for sure C5 skills, I have been debating on doing a total regearing of my SWS.
First off changing the BW Heavy for Doom Heavy, and changing the dragonslayer for a AOBA w/health. As well as finally getting tats, going -8 str, +4dex, and +4con. Eventually going from an AOBA to a DLE when and if I get the money.
I ask your opinions on going a full hp setup on an SWS. Yes I know its not going to be a pvp god setup, so shoot away yall ^^. Thank you in advance :)
I think it is a pretty good pvp setup... since at least imho the SWS must rely on other party members to bring down enemies for him... while it's his job to keep the supporting buffs up as long as possible. If you look more like a tank you will probably get targeted less often, too. :p
In any case upgrading your defensive abilities will have a bigger effect for you than it would have for other classes, since most of your buffs further boost your defense and regeneration. :) And if you don't die in 3 hits you can even try to harm that necro a little bit by slapping it with your axe repeatedly... I heard they are quite squishy. ^^
you should leave the stats as is, no tats. A SwS should only use 2 weapons: one handed sword with shield and bow. Blunts are bad for SwS unless you +STR. The most damage output from a SwS is through crits, which is what swords and bows are good for. I would never use a dagger personally but I have heard crit damage daggers aren't that bad on SwS. As far as armor B grade go BW or Avadon and for A grade go Tallum or if you use a bow more often then go Majestic.
