What is better for a light elf archer?
Salamander set or Manticore?

If you can get the boots for the set bonus, manticore is better.
+90 MP means you can shoot arrows for longer.

Manticore gives more MP and has a higher Pdef afaik. So I would go for manticore.

Untrue... Salamander has way more pdef.
but D grade doesnt matter At ALL. I can use anything, incl robes, incl NG armors.

You'd use manticore because it's light armor BUT it also gives you extra MP. 90 if I remember right if you have the set.

Manticore, but at D grade you can almost use anything.
I used the Mithril Robe Set for my archer. More mana, and an additional +7 speed ...for kiting. Plus it has pretty good pdef.
The only drawback is that ppl will think you're a buffer. :D
