On Lionna which is there less of and which is more useful:

Swordsinger or Tyrant?

For both i would probably have to say Swordsinger from what I noticed.

I see a decent amount of Orc Fighters, but I don't know which class they are. I don't see too many SwS although I do know of one or two.

sws is more useful but boring as hell

tyrants are cool, but very expensive and since they dont crit at all, they arent to great...

so if u want a great fun support class id pick BladeDancer, if u want a pure fun damage class id go archer or dagger

SwS are rarer and in more demand. Tyrants are more fun to play.

Don't go sws unless you have an alliance who will always group you or can duo with a bd/melee DD all the time. Just in my small 4 clan alliance there are 6 SwS myself included, 3 of us 76/77, 2 as alts chars ><

Yes you do! We have... uh... TWO in our alliance that I can think of off the top of my head.

Aye...there are a quite a number of SwS on Lionna....it's actually a great class to play up until about 60....At which point the lvling curve kicks you in the teeth and you realize that you haven't gotten any songs that you use since 52ish.

Then you look at the skill tree and see that the next exciting one is still a LONG ways away >.<

That said they've got great MDEF, greater weapon versatility than a tyrant, and they don't look as goofy when they run 0.o

You were better off making a tyrant though imo since you're new, as, for my part, I found the SwS's dmg to be rather lackluster, and therefore some fair bit dependent on gear upgrades.

I think I will be plenty happy with my choice of tyrant. And once I get him up there I will gear up my 30 Human Knight and make a DA or Paladin as a change of pace instead of making a SwS...

If I make a new character at some point it will either be an archer or a caster of some sort, but not to concerned as I have WAY too much time ahead of my as a Tyrant =)

Lem3nt, as usual you are so not up to date...there is no tyrant nerf. I think they are becomming better. Well, at least different, but surely not omgwth nerfed. Krss at least seems to like the changes.

I agree, new Tyrant changes look pretty good, I think Tyrants will become stronger in C5 :> It's a fun and strong class to play, lots of stuff to do!

My sub is SWS, and I like it. I got like 0 attackskills, but will get a couple useful ones in C5. However the songs are pretty good, especially in pvp. A must in any serious pvp-group. Especially with the Necro FOTM going on atm, the SWS is awesome with Invocation and Warding cutting dark magic damage in half :>
