How do I get my Human fighter from the starter town to the Dark Elf starter town so I can transfer his items to my new character? How do I transfer my items to my new character over the warehouse or mail system in the starter town?
Take the boat to Gludin and then run to Dark Elf village. Then use the freight system there so that the Dark Elf character can pick it up (you have to pick it up at the same town). Keep in mind it costs 1000 adena per item or item stack to Freight so another riskier option is to drop the items in an out of the way place and then log in to your character (already at that area) to pick it up.
Of course if the server goes down while you do this then you are out of luck. You could also give it to a person you trust but that is if you have a person you trust implicitly.
You want the fast way or the cheap way? Seriously....
Your fighter can port to dark elven village from gatekeeper for i believe 6k adena.
You can run there straight up past abandoned camp, north past fellmere, through mountains following road too.
That's how you get your knight to DE village.
In DE village open your map and find warehouse. Got to Freightman. When you click on him one link option will be 'freight'...click on that. It will ask if you want to 'deposit' or 'withdraw' a box--choose 'deposit a box' (click on it). Then Click on the drop down box arrow that appears and highlight your alt's name....a box will open of your inventory and blank slots.
It is 1k for EACH item (or stack of items like soulshot) that you place in WH freight.
Restart on your alt and take him to THAT warehouse, go to same freightman, click on freight and "withdraw a box" and you can retrieve stuff (free).
Or--some players get both toons in same remote location, throw stuff on ground with your knight, restart your alt and when he appears pick up stuff from ground for free. Risky but cheap.
LMAO--make sure you have both alts in same place. I like to drop 1 adena on ground from first alt so second alt knows exactly where to run to...then I restart 1st toon to drop in same spot.

No no... you got it all wrong !
If your new to game you have newbie buffs and thus Wind Walk... well if you still have it your in luck.... buy a scroll of escape, head to the coast, jump in and start swimming towards Necropolis of Sacrifice ! You just have to swim about halfway, use /loc to see where you are and once it says gludin use that soe you just bought! The trip costs you 500a cheaper than anything else... then run to DE village
PS: bring a health pot or two if you dont already have a few
