Help with a quest for Varanak's messenger

I am up to level 12, playing as an Orc, by the name of Oldfart57. I got a quest to intercept one of Varanka's messengers, who is on the way to the Frozen Waterfalls. I know how to use the "push-pin" on the map, and I've foind my way to that area. But I just can't find the messenger. I just keep wondering around until I finally die at the hands of one of thos big bears. Can anybody help me know where to go to intercept the messenger?

In that one field there is a bridge you have to cross.... Then go up the hill and there he is.

But do you know what to expect in that quest? When i tell someone what they have to do, they reply with " Holy cow, you have got to be kidding me"

If anything i can show you where he is, but make sure to grab THREE scrolls of escape. Your need them

Thanks, I will try looking again. But before I do, how do get 3 scrolls of escape? I play as a fighter, maybe that's why I'm not familiar with them.

You can buy scrolls of escape in the Npc store in elmore.... I have a level 5 orc on the server, i can show you where he is and tell you how to run the quest.

I do appreciate the offer, so I will look for you the next few times I am on the server. What name do you go by? And do I just use the little chat/message thing at the lowe left hand corner?

By the way i did message you on the server, but you must have been doing something else at the time.

Finishing the quest requires a bit help from friends, You have to kill a bunch of Orcs...and you might want to be helped by 4 other fighters-mages ;)

You don't need any help, i've done that quest solo alot of times.

Thanks for the tips. I did finally find the Cave of Trials; that is where the messengers are, right? I made a foray into there, but I ended up dying from all the aggresive skeleton attacks. Losing my bone breastplate earlier in the day did not help. I might wait until I've gotten a little more skills and max HP to go back.

No, thats not where he is.....And do you see that flashing letter icon thats on the messageboar near your "Welcome Oldfart. [Logout]

That means you have a private message.

I would help you get your bonebreast plate back, but i'm not high enough of a level to go in those areas yet.
