Temple Knights

What are the good and bad points of Temple Knights? They seem to be sort of rare so I wanted to sub as one but I don't know any. Are they good or bad in pvp/pve? Looking at their skills I can see they are geared for PVE but how would they fare in sieges and such?
what server are you on? I know a TK on dev that really likes her class and we all think shes insane because one of the coolest skills she gets is a root that only works on speciffic mobs. whoopie. still, in elf town on Gustin the other day there was someone shouting because they wanted to recruit a TK for their clan. in necros and forest of the dead they are pretty good tanks, and have erally nice m. def. for a fighter (from self buff and passive skills). ive never actually seen a TK use the cubics, odd that. in PvP im pretty sure you just get owned.
I'm a TK on Lionna. I love the class. Isn't the most fun class to play, but they are (in my opinion) the best tanks, with high dex, making the sheild defense rate high, and their cubics. oh, and they aren't too great till B grade XD
and no, in PvP they are a VERY good class
I'm on Teon, I'm used to playing an unpopular class, since my main is an EE. I just like the unusual ones I guess :p I know one TK but he rerolled once he got to 50.

I want a good pvp class, but i also want to play a tank.
I'd vote for a SK rather than a TK myself.
I love my TK :)
In my opinion,
Pro: Highest dex of any tank class, good self buffs, useful cubics. Im a big fan of elven tanks myself. Never underestimate dex. TKs have higher dex and higher con over SKs. TKs arguably have the best stats of any tank class (tho Pallys/DAs are possibly better for raiding with their high con... thats kinda debatable)
Cons: Lacking skills... they have the least useful party skills in my opinion. You dont need healing cubic in a party with a good healer, you dont need elemental heal, or sprint, or spirit barrier. Gaurd stance and shield aegis are very nice though. I tend to use only hate and hate aura in partys when things arent going wrong.

I'd vote for a SK rather than a TK myself.

an EE can't sub SK
In c5 when hate works in PVP I can see a popularity boost in the defensive tanks, TK and paladin (assuming any are still playing by then XD)
I'd say if you're going to Solo, TK is the man to do it. Played correctly with healing cubic, it can solo like non-stop even at higher levels (with self-buffs).

Well, apparently they are good tanks against necros and such with their undead-roots, dark magic resistances and m.def buff. Necros still own them but they do it to any tank-class anyway. :)

Archers can be stopped using entangle and with elves' high speed + ww2 self-buff they'll catch up with them really fast. Of course there are many deciding factors on a pvp-match, but generally they have chances.

IMO it's a too underplayed class, it's a pity. Aim for originality, be different! :)
>> it can solo like non-stop even at higher levels (with self-buffs).
yes most tanks (aside paladin) can solo but it's expensive and not fast in any way.
actuly on my sk at 75 i still get abour 1%every 2o min ide call that **** fast

as for tk's well pvp there gimp there dammage output is horid and since there a elf there life is low as well there greate pvm classes but now that sk has all there good skills there useless (sheild fortress gaurden stance and some thing ages that lets us block with the sheild from all angles ) plus al lthe sk atack skills also the healing cubit is a bit lazy

I'd vote for a SK rather than a TK myself.

hehe u'd wish you had the TK when your GRP dies when the SK makes a bad pull =) What do you mean Drain is bad for soical mobs ? I remember when my party got like 2 DL pops in a row with very low MP. My TK had so much speed and HP that I was able to run that 2 set out of C2. I survived and so did the party =)
good: tank.

bad: light elf.

all i have to say.
>>actuly on my sk at 75 i still get abour 1%every 2o min ide call that **** fast
w/o buff bot? i call it next to impossible.

using 2box is not solo.
