There are like 5-6 reds killing all the Extremely new players. They dont even stand a chance they just get one shotted.
I just had a guy kill me by using Multiple exploits. He forced logged 3 times. He shot me from a peace zone doing damage and he used a /unstuck command in town to escape everyone while Red.
The newer people are going to start quitting the game from his. The cant ever level up by being repeatedly killed by perma reds.
If someone stands a small chance its PVP but when you are 40+ killing a lvl 7 for the hell of it its just plain greifing in my book.
1 thing is good about this the new guys will have plenty of SP for ther skills :)
and yes perm red killing lowbies thats ...... just fix it i don't care how but do.

Tip to the NC Devs: Make red player (5+ kills) can't kill anyone in noobie towns/hunting grounds (Starter towns + Gludin and Gludio) and there noobie hunting grounds (OB, Wastelands, AC,RoA,RoD).

starter towns, yes but gludio/gludin should be open because you can level there till 40
EXACTLY. It doesn't hurt to take a death at that range, consider it SP farming and move along. (and yes I was pk'd many, many times when I started my SH/SE not that long ago)

Or instead of restricting areas make it open pvp everywhere including town. Eliminate peace zones and the perma reds won't have anywhere to hide.
If your really worried about the new people then go out there and help them out! Teach them to yell "red in location town" and see how many people who love to hunt them down for the fun of it or even hunt the reds with your high character yourself (if you have one not sure) Just help the new people out by giving them advice when they get stuck in that situation or even tell them to meet some nice high level people who might be willing to lend a hand if that newbie is being bothered by a red! The thing here is no matter where you are or what game your in or server there will always be red's and that wont change this is a PVP game and so many people play it for that reason! No matter how much you bothers you or anyone else it will always be like this & the only thing you can do is help the new people out & give them advice! I have a low char who's been pk'd in Cruma and all I did was private message my clan and a few of them with friends came down to kill this guy and I got some equipment out of it too which was cool! and for the while Cruma was at peace BUT everyone knows that red will eventually come back heh! So good luck with the reds they are here to stay always!!!!!
We also have this problem on Kain. I actually keep 2 "retired" toons in Gludin to "fight" these losers. Most of the time it works well. I've been PM'd by many a noob thanking me for clearing the area.
I do feel that while this is part of the game that they are helping many a noob to decide to quit.
So I help them lose thier stuff.
I get all kinda of complaints from the perma reds. Most center around them saying "I kill bots why did you kill me?" but it's been my experience that most of them kill noobs and bots. I also find it very very funny when they ask for their stuff back. I've gotten rich of the drops…well as rich as D grade equipment can make ya anyway.
Another solution which to me is the easiest is to use the gatekeepers. That's why they're there. Teleport to the lizards south, or felmere grounds north. Reds usually hang around town to show off. I never had a problem since I came back in c3. Now prelude, that's a different (a lot of fun) story. Being lvl 4 and constantly deleveling. But like people say, hey more sp for the future to get all your skills. I never mind dying, so I always fight back even if the person is 20 levels above :p.
TI is a different animal...reds will always hunt there cause it's so darned easy.
As for the other areas--I think it's self limiting. If other players can support and encourage the new players it should be okay.
I'm hearing (particularly around Dion now) that all kinds of interesting 'wars' are breaking out cause u just never know as a red what noob is a noob (LMAO)!!!
Goes like this:

Red: "hey--give me my stuff back! you @#$%%#! i'm not a pker..i just kill bots!"

oh and they are lvl 10ish... so not too many pks... however i was down to like 3 karma and somebody thought they could kill me, so when he started casting on me i shot a mob... karma dropped to 0... and he was at +1 pk. I'm just not a nice person i guess...

Anyone should know when someone is about to lose all of their karma, though. That's why you don't hunt pinks.

nah the names are all something like BartzIsDown, IhateBartz, bartzupyet, bartzdwnipk or something around those lines... I only fool around with them when... bartz is down. :) I do however have 200k paid to me by some guy to leave him a lone...
LOL well if the guy has the money to waste on paying off a bully then I guess it's worth it for him! In my opinion I prefer getting my clan involved in killing reds cuz they enjoy it! Sometimes raiding and rifting and grinding is boring or slow so they prefer to keep it interesting by hunting reds! :)

he was in full a-grade and went red on a friend i made on the server... Then I followed him around and waited where he logged a few times... 200k was a deal imo.
Granted it was prelude, but I had to survive constant attacks from pkers, don't see why the new folks need to get it any easier. If people don't like getting pked, its better they learn up front how that's a big part of Lineage.
There are four gates out of town, time to develop ninja skills and learn to sneak their way past.
