Tyrant and pve a lil help

Well ive made a tyrant as new char , but after 18 or so hes so slow to lvl. His dmg is weak and no crits i knew that but i thought his base dmg would be way higher but its not.
Some say it will get better with totems and other skills after 20 , other on the other hand insist tyrant is unable to lvl without group even if u spam pots takes way too long.Btw not many groups where i play at least on the low lvls

Any input on that ,? Btw if its not tyrant i might lvl a gladiator is it easier?or a dagger ( i cant play chars without styles like tanks with passives but not many active styles - skills)

First off you have a orc fighter, but what weapon are you using and whats your armor? And what do you have for skills?

the best i could find in orc town and i have almost all skills apart iron body

Is this your first character on the server, because you should be using new player buffs. Which will help you level up to 24.

And what color name monster are you fighting mostly?

Make sure you are hitting green colored monsters.

And thats kind of the point with tyrants, no crits, but very fast , decent damage output.

I don't know.... I'm only lvl 28 and i live by my criticals....

But orcs crit very seldom. But when they do you love it..

before you get some of your tyrant skills, sowrdbreaker works great below 20lvl.

i'm aiming for green equall whites sometimes. My first is a warcryer 30 somehting so no first char buffs.

The way i see it il change char because tyrant might be uber in 75 with great items but so are all.

As isee it monk is way too weak and its damage comes from xtra styles which u cant spam them cause ur gonna be out of mana after a couple of mobs.

Now why dont i play my wc , well warcryer is a great class but not my cup of tea i suppose since i like pure melee chars

hm.. Well, not everyone kicks *** in their 75th lvl... and it all depends on in which field you want to kick *** in.

Tyrants are one of the best melee DDs (damage dealers). The only ones matching them are daggers (but daggers has sooo much smaller hit point pool and combat point pool).

In pvp tyrants are a true pain in the ***, when getting some of their finer stuff (totems and ranged skills) they truly kick ***.

What would be your options in pure melee? Daggers only imo if you want someone who kills fast. Maybe gladiators can pull it off, but I doubt it compared to tyrants/daggers.

But its up to you, if you do not like the class, do not play it (: thats the worst you can do, hehe.

difference between daggers and tyrants:
daggers need all the crit buffs (focus/dw/fire,SoH is welcome too,cats) to shine, tyrants are fine w/ might and haste.
