Dwarf Spoil

I have been using my lvl 23 artisan for lvl 1-2 crafting , but for also spoiling/sweeping. And i'm wondering how better off i would be if i use my other low level dwarf and go scavenger just for the spoiling.

I'm working on some Northern Goblins for a spoil drop of a recipe of D grade soulshot, and they aren't turning blue at all.

Does spoil lvl 2 make that much of a difference?
its not a matter of spoil landing its a matter of spoil activateing
up to about lvl 28 artisans land spoil almost as well as a scav
if it says "the spoil condition has been activated" it worked
spoile level helps activation, not turning 'blue'
you can spoil w/ warsmith in ToI. indeed one of 20 times it may activate, but still not so bad. for lvl10 skill.
Isn't that what spoil lvl 2 is the activation?

the spoil condition has been activated

Because i always get that, but they never turn blue.
Yes, I always kill shamans in ToI and they seem not to drop me a DC helm.

Spoil is about activation, turning blue - about luck.
I always thought that the higher levels of spoil just gives you a greater chance the mob would turn blue. How disappointing!

it sorta kinda does
im a high lvl WS so if i spoil a mob i get about a 1 in 20 chance of spoil activating, after that i have to deal with whatever the spoil % is...
bone 50%
nm helm .00000001%
elysian rec .01%
a BH my lvl only has to deal with the spoil %, 99.9999% of the time spoil will activate and 50% of the time they would get bone
