i noticed when i die the auto spam of pet SS seems to be disabled
kinda hard for me to notice cause usually the golem is dead way before me but does anyone else have that problem?
should it be reported as a bug?
And no, the feeding excuse doesn't pull - my servitor can use SS where I can't even see it, and I really doubt I can throw that far - and if I did, probably not aim that well.

Well, it doen't seem too reasonable, does it? Why would you have sthing that someone else (your little monster) is using?
Especially if you send the pet to kill something far away from you. What you do? Throw it a mile and he catches it and eats it? The pet should use what's in his inventory. It does with the heal pots and haste pots. They don't use what I got in my inventory. It's whats in theirs. Same should apply to Beast Shots.

How do you explain controlling something that is so far away from you?
I am fairly convinced that the shots were made primarily for summoning classes, and for pet owners second - you don't double someone's damage output as a "side effect" of changing a minor aspect of the game (pet levelling).
As such, they have to be used from the master's inventory, as the servitors do not have their own inventory.
I wish they did though. Windwalk 2 and Acumen 3 potions would save me the trouble of a boxed prophet. >_<
Among the maybe six open PvPs I've had (I'm such a slacker), of which I died in four, three would have been draws (checked numbers with the others) if my servitor still had SS after I died. =P
Makes a bit of a difference, no?
PS: I always figured soulshots are tiny despite their graphics and automatically break open with a touch from your mind. :)

Honestly I think when the summoner dies the summons should just stop functioning altogether not die just stay idel till resurrection. If the controller is dead the tool should stop functioning

I think that what they do now makes more sense. They continue to blindly follow the last instruction they received until their death or until the summoner returns to give new instructions.
...or, at least, that makes sense for Warsmiths. It makes sense that a golem will, robot-like, continue to perform its last action until commands are changed or it is no longer physically capable. When summoning a presumably-intelligent creature, it would actually make sense for them to have stronger AI than that...
If it means the servitor obeys all of its masters commands without delay, the master gets to see servitor nuke reuse timer and can order it to move to a specific location while alive. :3
