I am new to lineage 2 , i am playing for 2 days now and i am playing an orc mystic lvl 12. I have learnd all available skills till now exept the ones that help you while wearing robes or light armor ( sorry cant remember what they called ) . My question is should i learn the ones for robes or for light armor wich will/should i be wearing later on ??? or should i learn them both ??? I hate to waist SP so i thot i ask the nice people on the Forum :p Thanks for your help !!!
Nightfox means that you get masteries in all three armor types (robes, light armor, and heavy armor) but that most Orc magic folks (Overlord or Warcryer) use either Robe or Heavy and not Light.
When you are starting out, your casing time is VERRRRY long, and robes shorten this a lot. My Orc is still using robes and magic to kill, but many switch to heavy and a melee weapon to level.
I would recommend the Devotion Set at your level. Others may disagree.
I am actualy wearing the Devotion Set. I am grinding using life drain with spirit shots, after i hit a whithe mob with that it takes me only one maybe two simple hits to kill it. My hp is always full couse of the life drain and i go on killing till my mp is empty then i recharge and go again. If i youse only mele atacks and soul shots its taking me for ever couse i cant afort a good mele weapon right now, all my money goes to ss. I figured i first hunt xp/sp and then at a decent lvl i start hunting for adena. I actualy got the Devotion Set and my stuff from a nice elven archer who was in the orc vilage so thank god for that couse its a huge help not to run around with the starting gear and save big money for the ss.
Anyway i may start learning all the skills for the robes/armors later on but witch to learn and use now ? and any tips on grinding you have i would like to hear them and any tips for that manor thanks again everybody !!!!!

I always did my 1-20 with any race on TI, so I dont know much about orc town other than class changes. I started out in hvy actually and looking back at it now, it was a mistake on my part. Robes own on orc mystics/shaman/warcryer or overlord. Even in robes, an orcs defense is so much better than the rest of mystics. So go with robes allllllllllllll the way. Drain will keep you going. If I wanna lvl fast I dont bother with freezing flame or aura sink, or venom (unless its a 4x mob in catacombs). I just melee and drain all the way when grinding. And most of the time I don't even use spiritshot. Just too expensive. I stick with soulshots, drains, and hp pots to keep me going non stop. When mp runs out, I use hp pots.
From 20-25 I lvl in Orc Barracks, 25-35 Forgotten Temple, 35-40 Heretics Catacombs (Hate all catacombs, big money sink, little return). or North of Giran or Alligator Beach (only 2 types of mobs :)).
