Good place to solo?

n00b here :) I would like to know where a good place to solo from 30 to 40 is. I'm going to be real busy the next few weeks and it will be hard for me to get in a grp?

OK first off noooooooooooooooooooooo don't go to cruma unless you want to take 5 times longer to get to 40 then you should have to! find a SO to dual with get a polearm and go to a cata and do small pole groups so much easier and faster and as a warrior you have pole masteries already.

Also think long and hard about the gladiator choice I have heard so many glads complaining about it that you may be setting yourself up for something you won't like. I however can't comment I went warlord instead of glad on my warrior alt. I thought both were lame so I stopped playing her at 40.

sorry but I forgot to give you places 30-35 heretics catacomb is good. 35-40 pilgrims necro is good. Stay in the first few rooms if you can at both or at least those types of mobs as none curse or nuke much

Not alot of people anymore group. So you pretty much have to depend on soloing. I've been at EG for 19 levels now.....and I want to kill myself. Don't go there....its an evil place.....

Go to all three places...sheesh, we want him to stay, not burn out grinding mindlessly in one place for a month.

EG is not the best place since it has a lot of griefers. Cruma Swamp is good and Wastelands is another area. There are also pockets of places all around that have the right level range.

there are griefers in EG still?

I leveled there a month or so ago with one of my characters and there still were griefers.

Try Partisan Hideaway, thats a nice area they are double exp but if you can hold a camp to yourself with heal pot its actually good exp.

Also Catacombs do seem to be the best. But try harpys and meduas's etc around giran castle, and the mobs around heine or alligator island when your closer to 40.... infact just about everywhere from dion to heine to giran is good for you.

The mobs south of the race track in dion/forian village are mid 30, 1/2 hp type and groups.

Not great to do if you don't have a healer, and they don't give the best XP.

I think that PN is best place from 32-38, once you hit 38 start going to branded, or to first lvl of CT. with the value of seal stones I'd stay to the cats till you get to your 50's.

once your around your 50's start looking else where to lvl, specail field places..anything around oren and outskirts of IT around bandets strong hold are good places to solo till your 60ish.

at 56 (I think) you can go to dev castle. and to DV for mobs, also AL has some mobs you can work over for a quest at the frount of the enterance, but not many do that any more.

60+ best place I've found was rune, and Forsaken plains.

How about a lvling place for an archer ? Those "archery resistent" mobs are a pain to kill. Oh, and also monsters that use magic like crazy are a nuisance :P. LvL range 20-30.

I lvled my PR, with a dagger in HC and PN.. and if I couldn't get a group I'd solo in CT swamps.

20 to 30, work the blacklion quest in AC(abandond camp), starts from capt. leopold in gludin, he near the south gate.

NoS is good... and there are mobs above gludin off the road, close by RoA and fellmore lake. don't forget orc barricks to.

since your going the way of archer, I suggest that you only use a dagger till you get to 52. then swich to Bow for the rest of your life.

However I went with bow so far (bought a cheap bow and used exchange item) and there is no way for me to switch back to dagger (can't afford it, yet). As for when I'll buy a D grade wep (in my late 30s perhaps) i'm reluctant to buy a dagger, i like using my bow so much :P.... I think I'll stick with bow all the way. (and y do you say until 52 ? 40-52 as an archer and still use dagger ? perhaps if you stick with best D best C maybe, otherwise not a chance >.<).

Hi Guys I have a question for yall. This is my first time back in about 9 months. I have a lvl 36 SO. I've been having to solo lately because it seems like you said, no one party's here much anymore. Whats the reason for that? I was told there were alot of people running bot groups, is that it? That kind of sucks then if thats why. Partying in my oppinion is one of the things that makes lineage 2 a great game.

Don't mean to turn this into a flame thread or anything, just an honest question. Ohh and add to that if anyone wants to party in game with a SO please feel free to PM me on the forums. I'd really appreciate it :)

What times do you generally play?

Im try to be on about 7 or 8pm during the week, and weekends I try to game most of the day. But my girlfriend has taken alot of my time up lately, but I'm not complaining.

But if people aren't partying anymore I don't know if its worth it much to keep playing. Game loses all its fun then :(

So is it that people don't party anymore or is it that people do party but are playing all high level characters? Or is it true what I have heard that most people are running bot trains behind them? I remember seeing them alot the last time I activated my account, petitioned about them, and also bugged the hell out of the bots with pm's :P . But from what my friends have told me is that Erica is dying. Is this true?

Erica still has an active player base and many many people who play legitmately. You do face a hurdle with a lot of people having higher level characters.

I don't think Erica is dying. I think that the dominant alliance is losing their hold and things are changing.

true with the higher lv player... they tend to play on their high lv char. (good to pk lower lv players, i guess) but we still have plenty of active players that are legit, not so legit, and others...
i'm on EST also, and sometimes my RL is as much drama as it is in Erica...

What is high level? I felt I was falling way behind by playing my dwarf, so I started playing my lvl 64 Sorc again. For her, I dont feel very high level.

ps: didn't know ne1 from Naples... and yeah.. lv64 is pretty high to me... always saw ppl asking for lv50+ to party most of the time...
