I'm currently a lvl 21 Raider and hope to make a Destroyer. I'm new to the game since I started 2 days ago and just want to know some of the essentials.

- I heard a rumor that Destroyers can use Bows for pvp? I was thinking of using a Bow for just plain pulling mobs for quicker killing. Is this a bad idea? Also If it's a good idea, can I make some sort of Macro to hit that equips a bow, shoots, then equips my main weapons? (Shield/Blunt, or 2h Sword)

- What's the purpose of Subclasses? At what lvl can I form a subclass? If I chose to be a Prophet for PLing reasons for friends can I still wear my uber armor and wield my uber weapons? Is it just my Destroyer skills that I can't use in Prophet form? Do my HP's and MP's still remain?

- What levels are Nograde,D,C,B,A,S ? I know Nograde is 1-19. I'm guessing D is 20-39. C is 40-??, B ??, A ??, S ??

- Are dungeons bonus exp?

- What is a good level to pvp? or be invited to Sieges?

- Enchanting weapons...I see all these glowing weapons. At what grade can I enchant a weapon? And I hear it must be +4 and up to glow blue? Where do I get ahold of +4 enchants? I don't think they're vendor bought.

Yes they're all noob questions but please help me out a bit nicely. No flaming please.

It can be done at lvl 75, you choose your subclass and get that char at lvl 40. hp/mp/cp etc are all adjusted to that class. The same goes for skills. You can keep using your hard earned gear, but that wouldnt be that usefull for a prophet. The use of this is that you can play another class on the same character.

NG - 1 - 19
D - 20 - 39
C - 40 - 51
B - 52 - 60
A - 61 - 75
S - 76 +
U can use gear of your own lvl, or below it, when u use gear of a higher grade, you'll get a penalty. (lower run speed)

- Are dungeons bonus exp?

most dungeons in this game are necropolis and catacombs. they can be accessed when you either join dusk or dawn (starting lvl 20) the mobs inside are 4x hp mobs, equilevant to 4x exp.

- What is a good level to pvp? or be invited to Sieges?

depends on your class and how you like to play. although you can only serve as bait below lvl 40 at sieges.

- Enchanting weapons...I see all these glowing weapons. At what grade can I enchant a weapon? And I hear it must be +4 and up to glow blue? Where do I get ahold of +4 enchants? I don't think they're vendor bought.

You can enchant weapons of D grade and higher. The enchants can be bought with blank scrolls and ancient adena from the merchant of mammon. Just use the enchant scroll of the appropriate grade on your weapon/armour and it will become +1. You can enchant whatever you want to +3 without blowing it to crystals. (with the exception of 1-piece armour, these can be enchanted to +4 without the risk of destoying it.

im a noob myself :D
Bow's are mostly used when you can not get to your's oponent (roted, slowed, ets).
Subclass is so you can play a different class without changing toons. Only yhings cept are name, look, WH and friendlist, all skills and stats are diffrent. To get a subclass you need to do a long hasd quest (lvl 75).
C 40-51
B52-60
A 61-75
S 76+

To see mob's stats you need to click an arrow down when you target the mob. There willb e bunch of images and when you put arrow on then it will tellyou what are those. Many of monsters in dungeons and some on ground offere multiple 3experience and drops, but those mobs also have multiple health points. Also, there are bonuces for skill using mobs (stun, archers and lots more).
You can pvp at any level, if you find some simular level oponents. Best place for such battles are arenas. YOu do not lose any xp there.
For mass battles you should be higher, I'm guessing at least in B grade.
There are only +1 enchants, you just need to use multiple scrolls. Beware all items have a chance to break after you use more then 3 scrolls, you will be left with some crystals,which usually cost less then the wearpon (or armor)itcelf. Oh, and full body armor can be enchanted ot +4 safely.
1) yes they can, technically a 2h sword is better but a bow helps with the kiting issue

If u can spare the money sure, most all lvl70+ destros have a bow on em at all times

yes u can create the macro.. u have to put ur main weap and bow both on ur bar and make a macro for those shortcuts

subclasses r mainly a free lvl 40 character for those who have reached lvl 75

When u switch between ur main and subclass (takes a trip to town) ur entire character changes, skills, HP, MP.... when im on my BD subclass I am in all aspects a DE BD..Low hp, dancing abilities none of my main.. but I look the same (makes for some funny animations)

Ng=0
d=20
C=40
b=52
a=61
s=76

U can always wear gear below ur lvl (aka lvl 78 using NG gear) with no penality, its using gear above you thats gives a penailty

dungeons have 3x,4x,5x,6x mobs, a 4x mob is az regular mob in atk and defense but have 4x the hp and give 4x the xp.

Seiges and PvP usually starts getting good at 52+ but u can do it before

Any class and lvl can enchant anything. Echant armor and enchant weap scrolls allow u to do this(1 enchant= +1) +0->+3 is safe but any higher than that and u have a 30% chance ur weap/armor is gonna blow tho u get more out of each enchant then. +4 and higher gives a blue glow higher +, higher glow

P.S NG can't be enchanted

Well, sure, you can. It shouldn't be your highest priority with your first character though. Try to get a good 2handed sword, some nice heavy armor and perhaps some jewelry first.

Destroyers are generally considered good with bows in pvp because they get a skill called frenzy at 43 (I think it was) which will increase your p.atk enormously if you're at 25% (another guess here, don't play a destroyer myself) or less health. You'll have the highest p.atk possible in the game. It's fairly hard to pull this off though.
Using a bow is a good idea, although without the special archery skills, you will 'missed target' more. With proper high-level buffs, orcs with bows are very good at PvP. I don't use macros, so I can't answer that part.

A subclass has two purposes; it is required to become a 'nobless' (which is required to become a 'hero') and it gives the folks at the level cap something to do. You can create a subclass when your main character reaches level 75. Note that you can subclass again when the first subclass reaches level 75. When you switch to the subclass, you do not keep your level 75 HP and MP or skills. You start at level 40 in the subclass tho, with all the skills available at that level already 'learned.' So, you can use your C-Grade armor/weapons.

B-grade = lvl 52, A grade is 61, S grade is 76.

Seven-Signs dungeons are all multi-HP (so, multi-xp) mobs. Other dungeons have normal and multi-HP mobs.

There is no 'set' level to PvP. You have to try to judge your opponent's level if you wish to PvP below the low-70s tho. Be careful of the karma rules when you PvP, as you do not want to kill a 'white' player. Go to one of the Arenas if you want to PvP without this risk; you don't loose xp there or drop equipment either.

Seiges are clan-based, so you have no set level to seige, although most clans that seige want you to be at least level 40 to join the clan.

Any level player can try to enchant any weapon (armor and jewlery can be enchanted too, but they do not glow.) The first three levels of enchant are risk free, but there is a one-third chance of the item breaking (crystalizing) above that level. You use one enchant scroll for each enchanting try. So, a +4 enchant would require 4 scrolls, with a 1/3 risk of losing the item on the last enchant (and any enchant after if you want to go higher.) Enchant scrolls drop from mobs, can be manufactured by castle owners, and can be bought from the Trader of Mammon (who appears in the Necropolii during Seven-signs Validation periods.)

Your other questions seem to have been answered, so I am just going to make a comment about destroyers and bows. They own. Orchers for the win.

I have seen several destroyer videos where it had gutz and frenzy and he was using a bow, and his physical attack was over 10,000. He was killing most same level classes in one hit. And he did a critical on this one nuker for 44,000 dmg lol. Can't do better than that. Though your accuracy is gonna suck compared to an archer, you will still freekin own.
Thank you all for your excellent responses!!

One more question I promise!!

- As a raider or even a destroyer. I've seen Signature pics of Destroyers wielding 2 swords. Is duel wielding a bad idea? Could I get 2 insane swords and combine them? Also if so, how do I go about combining swords? Would my dmg output be best with a 2h sword/blunt or wielding duel swords?

Furon, Gustin server.
i dont know if its usefull for your class..

but to get them:

1. buy from another player. ( i think the top D-grade duals go for about 2 mil)

2. buy/craft the 2 swords you want to combine, take them with some money to a blacksmith in any town. he'll make duals out of them. (this only applies to duals of D and C grade, but you dont need the B/A/S grade yet)
I have no idea why they would use dual swords. But then again they don't have bow masteries either but still use them. Use 2 handed sword. You have masteries for it and it increases your stats when you use one.

To make a dual sword you need 2 regular swords and a dual stamp and go to the blacksmith in town. I think he also charges a fee in adena.

One thing however that many dont seem to understand is that dual swords does not mean 2 times the damage of a regular one. It's higher, but you swing slower and each sword does 50% dmg. So if the dual swords attack is 300, each blade will do 150 dmg. Not 300.

Duals were meant for those who have masteries for them (bladedancers and gladiators), but it seems everyone uses them because of the looks. Especially healers and buffers who want to solo.

On people without masteries 2handers and duals give about same damage output.As a destroyer you will be better of with 2handers. First you will have 2 sets of masteries affecting your's PAtack with them (sword/blunt and 2hander wearpon masteries), for duals you have none. Also, you can not use ANY of your's special attacks with duals, but you can use many with 2hander.

The bow + Frenzy skill combo is being nerfed in C5. Having a bow as an alternate weapon will still be worthwhile...just not quite as much as it is now. It's just not going to be as good as the last chance lotto it is now.

It's going to be a long time before your able to subclass so I wouldn't worry to much about it now. Essentially however once you complete the quest, you can talk to the 'Grand Master' of the subclass you want and he will turn you into a L40 char of that class will all L40 skills and stats. You do NOT have any access to your L7x skills or stats OR to any of the quests for your main class. XP and SP totals are serperate for your sub and main classes also. To go back to your main class, you need to talk to the 'Grand Magister' for your main class. Swapping class to subclass is instantaneous but can only be done at these Magisters in town. Beware Carry capacity changes between main and subclasses!

See the other reply above. In general however, using a weapon above your grade Nerfs your Accuracy and Matk. Using armor nerfs your run speed heavily. There may be other penalties but I can't remember them offhand. Let's just say that the penalties are very noticable.

- Are dungeons bonus exp?

No. Multi-HP mobs give more XP based on their HP multiplier, and a bonus if they have special skills like all other mobs but that is all. Field mobs on the other hand can have a extra 30% xp bonus for being a 'solo' mob. If your hellbent on making XP and levels (While gimping your money.) you want to reduce downtime and increase kill speed. Ranged mobs and mobs with other special skill give extra xp also...avoid the trap of trying to fight higher level mobs for more xp. Unless your a mage two shotting *everything* the increased downtime and kill time actually reduces your xp rate over time.

- What is a good level to pvp? or be invited to Sieges?

You can wander onto any siege field at any level...but your gonna probably get wacked regardless. If you want to participate all you need to do is join a clan that is high enough level and who is signing up for the siege. With all the high L7x chars on the servers now, you'd probably get one-shotted or only do 1 damage anyway, but that doesn't mean you can't contribute or enjoy sneaking around in the big masses of people anyway. You'll probably want to be at least in your second class change, although I still see at least a few D graders running about in the big alliances siegeing. (They don't stay D grade long though.)

- Enchanting weapons...I see all these glowing weapons. At what grade can I enchant a weapon? And I hear it must be +4 and up to glow blue? Where do I get ahold of +4 enchants? I don't think they're vendor bought.

You can buy enchants from the Merchant of Mammon with Blank Scrolls and Ancient Adena, from drops/spoils, or from the Manor Lords. Enchanting only has a 2/3 chance of success however above the safe level. (+3, +4 on one piece armor.) In short...OVER enchanting (OE) is very, very expensive as things tend to break during the attempt quite often. And the + bonus on safe overenchanting doesn't make that huge of a difference overall. If you have the enchants go up to the safe level on all the items you can, but don't bother trying to OE until you can afford to lose AND replace anything that blows.

Do NOT use 'dual' swords. Not only do you not have any skills worth using with them, but none of your weapon masteries apply to them. (And YES I have tried them on my Destroyer.) Either go Shield + Sword/Blunt or go 2H Sword. (2H Blunt is pretty useless right now even if you ignore the chronic lack of 'melee' 2H blunts.) In addition you can't just combine any two swords you want to make Duals. There are very specific combos that are allowed. In the end Duals end up with a bit more patk than other 1H weapons, but their attack speed is slower. Besides the Classes which get specific masteries (BD/Glad) you see many mystics using them solely because General Weapon masteries work with them, and the extra patk helps make up for the Mystics low STR and lack of melee skills. For most other classes they aren't worth using over the other weapons.

2H Swords is the Destroyers best DD weapon. You'll do good damage and benefit from the +Accuracy bonus the 2H skill gives you. Orcs low Dex means missing is a big problem with other weapons. (Excepting Blunts/Claws which have a inherent +acc bonus.) Plus crits with a 2H Sword do Incredible damage and aren't that uncommon with a +Focus SA.
Btw, a point which you really should take in consideration...

As a destroyer, you will run slowest in the game... Really slow.
And equipping bows kills your attack range, since you dont have any skills for bows, meaning you will shoot at 600 range, everyone else at lvl 60+ will have skills for 900 range.

This means you cant run to the enemy and kill him, but the enemy can hit you, run, hit again etc... so..

just have that in mind
