hey guys, new player here about to hit 20 in about an hour, I was wondering which town has the best d grade gear to buy, and also, I wanna be a blade dancer, but I heard they were bad in pvp.... is this true?
Yeah Dion is the place to look for D Grade stuff...
Now, about Blade Dancers in PvP.. well, they don't exactly suck but they don't exactly own either... But you'll be welcomed in any party, especially once you get to your late 50s... a very looked-for class...
Dual 107's (any combo) unenchanted on Lionna right now are around 2.1-2.2 million. Which may or may not be a bargain.
Price varies widely by server.
On same server a bastard sword is a bit over 800k--the other combo swords are either 1.1 million or 1.6 million depending upon where you buy them and the sword. ******** can be combined with various other D's to produce 107's. Duals require a little adena and D-crystals to make for yourself as well as both swords...which I suppose makes the 2.1 or 2.2 in Dion for 107's (on Lionna) somewhat of a value.
Look around at multiple sell shops at least before buying. Also know 'going rate' for ewd's so you can do your own math on relative value. If 'clean' 107's are 2.2 mill--ewd's sell for 500k each and somebody is selling +3 107's for 4.5 million--that probably isn't that great of a deal. On the other hand, same example, somebody is selling +3 107's for 2.5 million on my server I'd buy that set.
I'd guess you could buy upwards of 10 sets of 107 combinations on dion right now (lionna)--they are popular (though by no means the only 'dual d's' out there)!
