Ive been petitioning for days against bots around Dion,which kill all the Eye Searchersbut nothing was ever done against it. I also noticed that whenever tapping /gmlist command, there is NEVER someone online. Could it be that GMs have quited a sinking ship?
I 'dont mind ppl using bots in deserted areas but thoses bots are ruining the game for all people leveling in this area and they dont move a finger. Very sad.
If GMs dont care, why shouldnt all get our own bots? Im thinking about it...
The support for this game has not been shrinking. In fact it has been growing. The player base for this game has increased over the past year which leads to increased support.
The /GMlist is no longer used. The reasons for this are many but the two I can tell you are:
1. Bots can read the GM list. -hard to remove bots if they know you are there.
2. Petition client is no longer attached to /GMlist. -I can now answer your petition on Bartz, Kain and Teon at the same time.
The farmers get away with botting because they have far, far more resources than the company to fight them.
However, they also have far, far more resources than you. Which means: Farmer can bot, you can not and will most likely fall flat on your face if you try.

PS: That doesn't mean farmers are not getting banned... it only means it doesn't harm them all that much.
I'd say take the matters into your own hands, but I've already tried that. My C-grade bishop dumped an entire mana bar into healing a monster eye searcher and it couldn't kill the farmer. They are farming the safest spot in Dion. To take them down, you're gonna have to go red and face the boss farmer. (However last time I did see someone do that, they also took down the boss farmer who was naked with a bone dagger).
However to deal with the bots just petition them over and over and get friends to see them and petition too! It takes time but eventually they will get busted...supposedly. Or just get a bunch of healers together to spam heal the mobs you will need more then one however and it helps if you buff the mobs too. No point going red on the farmers they don't care about xp anyways but they do like your gear and are glad to trade their xp for chances at it.
Oh and quick question: are those bots Scavenger, Artisans or still Dwarven fighters? Question might look stupid, but Scavies do use more MP for spoil, so more MP regen downtime. And Scavy quest is a killer (to my point of view though). Imagine having to do it numerous times... While being an artisan: less mp for spoil, u still get ur +20 skills, quest easier too...
